Half thought about throwing Igor in at the back but then came to my senses. :D  Interesting that no one's plumped for Palleta to partner Sami, or has everyone forgotten all about him?

i also thought Diouf on the right wing was a good shout

:lookaround

Imagine Douf and Bellamy in the same team.  There would be golf clubs and spit flying everywhere   :D

Except Well Read.

I was just thinking of names that could play CB. Would be interesting to do a "where are they now?" Type thread with comments on whether they're doing better or worse.

I see Robbie Fowler has had to move after his club is in financial trouble and couldn't pay him the same salary

Bloody hell this thread has Kewell in its starting XI  more then he actually managed during his entire stay at Liverpool
I go with

                                      Dudek
                      Arbeloa       Hyypia     Riise

                    Garcia     Alonso   Sissoko    Kewell

                              Anelka     Crouch      Heskey

Is Berger/Morientes/Baros still playing.

and for me those two would be Alonso and Anelka (with a lot of hindsight), not sure how depressing it is though AH.

Imagine what Chelsea ex XI would look like
