Obviously Torres has a big physical advantage, and although Owen scored his fair share of headers and was imo a little faster than Torres, its the strength of Torres that gives him the edge. I just hope he has better luck with injuries than Owen!
I think he still has some way to go to be as good as Rushie or Dalglish, and I think he's probably already better than the rest ...... yes even Robbie.

At his current ratio, he could turn out to be our best ever...if he stays with us long enough that is. I still think Fowler is the best finisher I've ever seen, though.

I agree mate I don't think even Greaves was as good a natural finisher as Fowler.

He's got a different playing style, and has more power and pace to Rush (who was no slouch in his prime either) and Kenny. Kenny's technical abillity to finish at certain instances was technically better than Torres' (the little dink in the '78 final against Bruges) and had a better football brain; whereas Rush was just a goal poacher that did score the odd one outside the area in a similar fashion to Fernando. But's it's Torres explosiveness, pace and sheer sporadicness that makes him different IMO to anything we've had in the past.
I picked Rush BTW.
