Got my grubby little mitts on Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising. Not bad. Been playing online but the lag is unbelievable. Why do players go online knowing their pc is cack and will slow down? Does my head right in when you start move a bit then your waiting for the other player then you can move a bit more then waiting for the same tw@t, then it runs ok for a bit and their lag timer is reset !  :veryangry

Does my head right in !

I had the first DOW, thought that was great. Whats the second on like? is it much different from the first?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

The second one is more like the table top game. Rather than have a lot of troops you have a set number of squads so you have to think more during missions. Its more like Company of Heroes. Its good but the missions can get repetitive.

Fat f.cuk -should get off his fat a.rse and do some exercise instead of sitting eating and playing a computer game - he is the perfect image and reason why games consoles are bad and why sport in this country is going downhil

Got that too but have only spent a few minutes on it... it does look magnificent however.. Having been spending all my time on Heavy Rain which is possibly the best game I have ever played on the PS3.

Borderlands is awesome. However after spending a good fair while completing the single player, i was horrified to find that you then have to play through it again "playthrough2" at a much much much harder level.

The fun just drained out of the game then

Just Cause 2.  :)

Cheesy backdrop (story), over the top character models.  Cack voice acting. Urban, mountainous, wild and unpredictable environment - great visuals.  Night/day cycle - variable weather.  Hilarious glitches. Action - action - action. Weapons - weapons - weapons. Vehicles aplenty - Choppers (with rockets) jets, bikes, tanks, speedboats, buses, sports cars, lorries, rikshaws!!  Missions - blowing s.hit up - Parachuting - crazy stunts - challenges - races - collectables - upgrades etc...

All set in a dynamic playground of around 400 sq miles of gameworld to explore!  A pick-up-and-destroy, wholly vibrant and satisfying cross between the best elements of 'GTA IV/Saints Row 2 and Crackdown' mixed into a single player experience that is both lengthy and not without a decent amount of replayability.  And thats not counting for the voluminous amount of proposed DLC.

And all of it FUN. Ive logged 29 hours so far - and i've completed a mere 9% of the game   :D

There will be better games out this year - there will not be one that has so much content, variety and instant 'fun fix' as this.  I never thought i'd say it after trying the demo and not exactly finding it to be the most graceful of experiences...but this game (warts and all) simply has to be recommended if you are into an open and action packed sandbox world where pretty much anything you can imaginatively conceive to be 'a good laugh' - is possible.

Blown away by JC 2 - Literally!

I'm on the fence with JC2 tbh. The demo didn't really impress me too much, and sure it was great fun, but I just felt that after playing GTA4, JC2's engine felt almost cardboard in comparison. I'm not talking about the game overall, but how things actually interact and feel such as the driving and the interaction with the NPC's. The RAGE engine that GTA4 uses just has no peer in the sandbox genre. Cars feel as if they are set in the world when you're controlling them, with good weight and balance in the steering, and hitting things like people, it reacts how youd expect it too. It's knitpicking, sure, but it's a pity GTA4 didn't have the freedom to do what you want that JC2 does. Anyway, I think I'll save my money and skip it for Red Dead Redemption. Now that looks incredible.

Speaking of incredible, has anyone played Bad Company 2 online? If you're a MW2 freak, forget about it and trade it in for Bad Company. It destroys it in every way imaginable. There is no comparison, even if they are different types FPS online play, the sheer amount of realizm and fun to be had in BC2 makes MW2 look amatuer.

Played the Fifa World Cup demo. It's excellent. Everything is now just perfectly balanced, and you can latch onto vollys now like in the old PES games at their very best. I can't go back to Fifa 10 now :(
