I am surprised they even had moving pictures when you were 12  :D Sound came in a few years later then ?

Give us a clue, which clip is it. I haven't time to watch them all.

£4 to get in when I was 11 in about 1990 and I use to get right in the middle of the kop with the big fellas trying to start the songs off even though my balls hadn't dropped.

When I didn't have money used to get to the ground for the last 15 mins to bunk in when they opened the gates.

Now that's a real fan.

Those were the days.

Why? I think it would be naive in the extreme to assume new owners' guarantees mean any more than the current owners, especially if people don't know who they are!

I'll take the new owners, they may well ditch Rafa anyway once it becomes apparent that he isn't capable of winning the league which most deaf, dumb and blind people have long since worked out.

He said if any player was not happy with him as manager, to stand up and walk out there and then, and they will be sold for a fair price and never play again, not even this season. Not one player stood up. He informed all the junior players that he will look at them on merit, and if any deserve there chance they will get it. He also said that he will personally phone every player on loan, and in the acadamy and tell them the same thing.
He said he will be fair to every player but the squad needed transforming, he said he belived in 3 years we will be english and european champions, maybe defending both titles by then, also said some of you will not be here then, but you will stay and fight now, and go down in history as a member of the squad who made us great again. For the people staying he promised they will be on wages as good as any other team in england can play, but they must show they deserve these wages.

He said the battle to sign players in the summer will be hard, but money is no longer a problem for LFC, however said some of you will have to speak to your national team mates in the summer and help convince them. However once the first 2 signings were made, who he regards as within the top 5 players in the world, then other players will follow. My source saif afterwards that Torres has been told that Villa will be playing up front next to him next season, and he has already spoke to him on the phone about it.

After that he thanked all the players for doing there best in what he described as a difficult time. He finished by saying we are Liverpool football club, and we should be very proud, who is with me. Apparently Gerrard started the clapping and all other players joined in.

Afterwards Rafa got Gerrard, Carragher, Reina,Torres and masch in his office, he again thanked them, and asked for his help, to create a great team, and again said shortly you will have some of the greatest players here and that he still sore a role here for all of them.

Afterwards Torres was saying he is convinced villa will be here, and crragher was saying to Insua that he will have to tell messi to come, but this was seen as a bit of a joke and few players were laughing.
