i was watching fletcher, park, valencia, nani yesterday and thinking there was a time when i thought these guys were average, so what has happend?

Fergie has a knack of getting the best out of average players

Then i look at insua, agger, lucas, kuyt, babel and i think.....all these guys at one time were highly rated

1. lucas.....won player of the year in brazil
2. kuyt....ridiculous amount of goals in holland and has won over 50 caps for the dutch

3. agger.......once regarded as a player to rival the great italian cultured defenders

4. insua.....capped by argentina at the age of 20
5. babel.....regarded by van basten as the new terry henry

We havent got bad players, just a bad man manager.......

his only examples of turning average players with potential into very good ones are.......?

Nani is still sh!te, does f*ck all for utd, had two good games and is made world class. Valencia is twice the player kuyt is, fletcher is decent and better than lucas. Park has been in utd for years so he is bound to improve and he offers more than kuyt will ever will.

Remove the "credentials" for lucas and kuyt.

1.A dubious "award" in a 2nd rate Brasil league devoid of all its top countrymen who leave for Europe at 18. He cost only 5.5 million for a reason.

2.Ridiculous amount of goals in Holland.. ditto kezman, huntelaar etc. A league not much better than SPL.. where championship standard kris boyd scores for fun.

I agree Rafa doesnt get the best out of average players...but these two shouldn't be anywhere near a club like Liverpool.

if you win the player of the year award in brazil surely you can pass the ball further than 5 yards to a teamate

my point is.....he won that award for having ability surely

now he has no ability

Mancs are not doing better than they did last season anyways, its because other teams are doing shyte they are still in the title race. Imagine if we had the same form as we did last season we would have been in a comfortable 1st place position. The team that wins the league will have a really low total points than previous years
