The only thing idiotic is you, a real idiot. There is nothing wrong with my post, if you write "I hope we don't prevail" on a forum full of supporters, odds are you will get called on it. Ace, sometimes by trying to be clever, you end up looking stupid (and if you were trying to be funny then you still look stupid)

We are a big club, even if you only count the trophies we have won in the last twenty years ..... we are still one of the most successful clubs in England. 

I believe we have a team good enough to challenge for the title..... unrealistic ? We challenged last season and maybe if we had been a little more ambitious in some games we might well have won it.

We all want to see trophies back on the menu at Anfield, some of us prefer steak while others are happy with a hamburger, but we are so hungry that even a hamburger will taste good after all this time. What I don't agree with is serving up Hamburger and telling me its steak.

Just to recap. I think we should try and win the competition now we're in it, I think we've got an excellent chance of winning it. I do hope however that if we do win it, it isn't used as a blanket, a pot of masking fluid in an attempt to cover up the debacle that has been this season and many before it. If it was a straight choice of winning this and begining another five year plan with the manager, or not winning it and having a different manager in the Summer, I'd take the latter.

Now I know that the last paragraph maybe difficult to understand for some, but there it is anyway. To be lectured on the "it's all about winning trophies" angle though by some of the numpties on here is a first even I never thought I'd see  .

Anyway I'll write it again even though they won't read it. I hope we win it. Lucas's performance was interesting last night dontcha think? No? probably just me.

You hope too much Bigmick. You can't have a thought police that controls every thought in a forum, and at the end of the day, people will post whatever they want.

Remember last summer, when we were coming from a title challenge, and almost no one doubted the club had progressed in the last four years. In fact, people like you, did acknowledge that progress but argued it had been smaller than desired, and that we could have done even better. Which is nice.

But no matter how much we did debate in those days and what common points we found, this season has changed things a lot, and suddenly not only this season but the previous one have been a disaster, and our manager is totally mocked.

My point being that you can't hope anything about what people will say. Think that, if people have to read that we've got no silverware for 3 years, and that's fair, the same people will be very happy if we win that title. And it won't be a blanket, but simply what it is: A trophy to be happy about.

Forums change Mick! Newkit changed from a Pro Rafa forum to an Anti, and it can change again!

But I don't think it will because Rafa will be off this summer, and we'll be able to reset the counter to zero and start discussing about a new manager.

Hopefully he brings more success to Liverpool than the current one, and he brings the sixth, more FA cups, and the league title.
