Truth is Torres deserves to be competing for top trophies and at the moment we relying on teams to lose to get us in the top 4. I have heard talks of a takeover and i hope for the future of the club being taken seriously its true. We need in my opinion atleast 4 players 4 players who are at the level of the clubs history. Not a dossena not a ryan babel but real quality players.

In my opinion the only players i would have in my starting 11 for next season are

Reina

Johnson Carragher

Mascherano

Kuyt
Gerrard

Torres

I feel we need a Centre back a Left back a Wide left midfielder and a striker

Players that come to mind if the monmey comes available David silva David villa Eto'o Daniel alves decent players.

To be honest if we get good money for Torres and Stevie G then I won't mind them leaving, they are both playing :censored:

at the moment anyway so unless they improve their attitude then they are no use to us and with the transfer money we could really rebuild.

Sorry but was the money form the sale of Alonso not given back to Rafa? Why would it be different now?

No it didn't, it was given back to Rafa so that he could make his best transfer ever, Aquaman. Where else did the money for that signing come form, you aren't suggesting the owners actually gave Rafa a transfer kitty do you?

We have paid FC Roma 5 million euro up till now, thats not the 30 million Alonso money plus 20 on transfers is it?

yes that is correct Ciggy but have we received the £30 odd million from Real Madrid for Alonso yet or is that also in installments??

What does it matter whether we paid 20m up front or 5m upfront and another 15m in debt. He was a waste of money (check his injury record before he joined)

Rafa just wastes whatever money he gets. He is clueless. He spent €38m on an injury prone central midfielder and a full back.
