Rafa is bordering on insanity by the looks of things
Analysing the minutest of details and scrutinising every aspect of every game.
Then he comes up with the perfect team, formation, tactics and style of play to beat the opposition
Only guess what?
He cant beat Portsmouth, Fulham, Sunderland, the mighty Reading and now Wigan.
Has Gerrard ever played that bad? Has Lucas ever been more useless? Has Kuyt ever been more the man of the match for the opposition like tonight?
Where was the creativity, the flair, the guile?
Torres was sh'ite, Benny was sh'ite, no Aquilani, no Rierra. Insua should have gone to a policeman and reported that he had been dry bum fu'cked all night.
The manner of the defeat was worse than the result. Who the fu'ck is telling them to lob aimless balls into the box? More to the point why the fu'ck isnt someone telling them to stop it?

Fernando Torres, as arguably the worlds greatest striker, is playing infront of the worst Liverpool central midfield since Souness was manager, and is fed zero service. Its shameful.

Lucas is by some distance the worst Liverpool midfielder in my 15 plus years supporting the team. His contribution is nill, nada, nothing, goose egg. A poor mans Danny Murphy.

I agree with you the service is non existent but sometime Torres can overcome this. Sadly tonight he couldnt.
Alone, isolated and frustrated he was poor by his own standards. Someone should tell his team mates that hes not Peter Crouch and stop lobbing the ball in the box at every opportunity.
I actually felt sorry for Torres tonight. The best striker in Europe reduced to kicking sh'ite defenders in retaliation for kicking him. No protection from the ref or his shi'thouse team mates.

There is ZERO service to him.. he is working with NOTHING.

Imagine Torres at Barca, with Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and co...sliding balls through to him. The mind boggles what his goal tally would be.

Exactly! Our top players are surrounded by some of the worst in a long time. They are starved and are being swamped by a lack of width, creativity etc.

Lets not blame H&G in America. This is Rafa's doing. Souness was spot on last year. He has been given far too much time. He's living on CL win.

I mean Mourinho, sacked as prem winner. Heynkes was sacked after winning CL. Rafa? win nothing in the next 5 years, will probably be here. Lets see sense and get rig of this guy. We need someone like MON. Bring some passion back to this club. Mourinho would bring that. But, i dont think he'd come. Even Hiddink or hodgson over this clown.

I remember at the time of Sammy's appointment. I said we dont need a "yes" man. Unfortunately, thats what we got. Paco wasnt a "yes" man and so had to go. Its Rafas way or the highway. Lets look at the situation now. Aside from actually running the club itself he does run everything else. And this isnt comforting at all.

I'm immensely frustrated for him....in being degraded by having to play infront of someone of the ilk of the carthorse Lucas whose contribution is zilch. It is shameful.. i wouldnt begrudge Torres at all if he decides hes had enough in the Summer and wants a move.

Saying Torres played sh'te tonight when throughout the entire 90 minutes he had no ball to work with and was disgracefully starved of any service...is the equivalent of a teacher removing all pens/pencils/writing utensils from a student before a written exam, and then saying he did badly.

Seriously we are only heading one way with Raffa in charge and its not to the top of the league. You also have to look at the owners of the club and the idiots that gave him a new 5 year deal last year, for god sake he hadn't won a trophy for the previous 3 years back to 2006. In six years he has scrapped together 2 trophies just not enough for liverpools high standards. And may I add those trophies were only won with a large slice of luck!!! This continued method of the so called continental approach to each match and the slow build up in every move. This just does not work in the premiership against teams like wigan and their more direct method of football. I cant recall kirkland making one real save last night. Wigan were still non league while we were winning the european cup, we just cant sink much lower. Raffa's 2005 success bought him time and a few years of very average football and now he's tied into a 5 year contract he's too expensive to get rid of. Manchester united were european champions and 6 years latter were in the old second division dont think it cant happen to us because to put it mildly we are :censored:

. And to make matters worse I have to get up in the middle of the night to watch this garbage every week as i am in sydney australia. All I can say is shanks and paisley must be turning in their grave watching this poor excuse of a team each week. WE LIVE IN HOPE FOR THE FUTURE!!!
