And some mods do seem to take things too eprsonally and just have goes for no reason.

it's how you express it that matters. it's all about context.

for example there's no way i'm going to sit back as a moderator and listen to someone like big niall call rafa a "useless f#cker" (which he did a about a week ago) and let him get away with it. same as members like redtilldead who brought no "debate" to the forum whatsoever. he just attcked the manager in every single post he made, even in threads that had absolutely nothing to do with the manager. it was just tiresome.

heimdall, you claim you want free speech and then that free speech includes comments such as "if rafa is still manager next season i'm going to take a break from watching football altogether" bring nothing constructive to the table whatsoever.

all in all the general state of football posts is declining. just look at the fact that this thread has 390 posts and was inevitably still right near the top of the board when i logged on this morning where as a great thread started by john c has 8 replies and is half way down the page.

too many people want to have theri say on how this place is run and how it's gone downhill instead of trying to make it better by making constructive and interesting topics to start with.
