Liverpool vs blackburn - Anfield, 28/02/10 15.00

Liverpool Football Club - Games

I don't think we've been poor, in fact we've been more adventurous than we've ever been recently. Blackburn is playing a very physical game pressuring us all the time. So credit to them.

I hope we keep this formation for a while, you can see our midfield is so much better and the passing is so much better with Gerrard back in the middle.

As for Diouf, I hope one of our defenders knock him and his pussy hair out...

deservedly in front at ht.
were playing well and passing/movement is good.
great goal from gerrard.ist assist for maxi and torres is looking sharp.
dreadful by carra for the peno but benni should have HOOFED it:D if ever there was a time for it.
pepe needs to be cautious on set pieces as he's getting smothered trying to claim them.

hopefully we'll hammer the sh1t out of them 2nd half

Shaky but a much better performance. If we do keep this formation for awhile and let the players get used to it, 4th place shouldn't be a problem.

The more you watch him , the more he isn't a defensive midfielder , he has that passing quality but his position compromises that because hes usually quite back and any misplaced pass will put us under pressure . I think that is why he plays the sideways passes but when hes further up , occasionally he does try the harder ones ,an example would be against newcastle for gerrard

True but I some times feel we have forced him to pick those sideways passes. It seems like he is more afraid of messing up and would rather play safe instead of expressing himself on the pitch and I think that attitude stems back to him being boo'd for those few games.
