Honestly though why would Liverpool slate Redknapp for bailing us out?!? I couldn't care less if spudz made a mistake, they buy back players like they've gone out of fashion, and we simply don't know what they paid back for him. It may be that we paid £12m up front say with the rest in clauses/instalments and they only had to give us £10m to take him back, so why wouldn't they when he did ok for them and was only six months older?!?!?

While I do believe you have to accept reported fees, that doesn't mean they are gospel and you can safely conclude Liverpool got the better out of the selling back of Keane. There must have been good enough incentive of spudz would have left us neck deep in doodoo.

Should Rafa stay or go? Well for me I think he has no chance of winning the league, not without so much money he is bound to buy enough good players and even then it's quite possible he'd turn Messi into Babel, Villa into Kuyt. But he is here until the summer, while I want us to finish 4th I realise that may mean we get another season or more of Rafa and so it would be a mixed "blessing".

Rafa's taken us from CL finalists twice to knocked out embarrassingly at the group stage, league cup finalists to knocked out regularly before the semis or QFs, FA Cup winners to knocked out embarrassingly by struggling lower league sides AT HOME and from title contenders to struggling for 4th with the wannabes. It's hard to see how FOUR disasters in one season can be called a 'blip', off the pace in the league or one embarrassment in the cups maybe, but all at once??!?!?!? Break down his management into tactics, formation, substitutions and purchases and you can't even make a case based on those skills. We blame luck, but Torres et al have played the same number of league games or less than last season, we haven't benefited from the luck of red cards we enjoyed last season and we can't blame luck for the excess of red cards we've received for poor challenges. And you can't blame luck for poor purchases, poor tactics and the inability to score more than one goal in cups which is more down to our attempts to sit on leads.

Who wants to risk another season like this because I'm not sure the chances of next season being better are any greater than a repeat of this.

Without a shadow of a doubt go.

It only shows some fans underestimation of the club that they are happy with what we have had to watch this season.
Results have been disastrous and if it wasnt for other teams performing poorly we would be in an even worse position.
Watching us play is also painful at the moment and there appears no sign of any change in things under this manager.
The way we went out of the champions league was embarrasing, and Rafa is in danger of undoing alot of good work in one season.
The FA cup in two of the last 3 seasons we have lost at home to sides struggling to stay in the championship.
The treatment and then sale of a key player (Alonso) and then the subsequent failure to replace him with a credible alternative have ruined our season. As has his decision to play all season with two holding midfielders that offer little going forward and leaving us with Ngog up front on his own - a lad who should be fourth choice at a club like LFC.

We can talk about table and lamps and all that but at the end of the day thats the situation the manager of LFC is in, i hate it but he needs to do better with the players at his disposal.
We have massively underachieved and he has kept faith with a system that hasnt suited us at all and often played with 7 defensive players in the starting 11.

Time for a change, and if anyone still as actual faith in him and isnt behind him mainly because of the conflict with the owners then i am puzzled to say the least.
