Jamie, more vocal than Hypia or maybe Didi.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

don't think it makes any difference.

guys like Viera, Keane, Tony Adams etc are natural leaders and inspire the team whether they have an armband are not, guys like Beckham are naturally quiet and unnoticeable even if they do have an armband.

Got to be Carra by a mile. He is the one always barking out the instructions and keeping everyone on their toes. Oh and he's a scouser! :)

Good point Chiggz, it would totally knock the ice mans confidence if he was overlooked for the arm band despite Stevies absence.

Id rather have a home grown lad as captain Fowler im afraid thats all! Dont you think the lad deserves a chance for the service he has put in for the club since Evans introduced him?

I think if you put it to the majority of supporters would'nt they rather see Carra given the captaincy? Im not just saying this really because he is a local lad but he does show more enthusiasm than any other player on the pitch in everything he does. Reward for a lad who has that never say die attitude and looks gutted every time we loose.
