Went to see Ian Brown in July in surrey it was an out door concert with about 2000 there, when he performed Stone roses songs 4 the 1st time, from what i can remember it was superb....The mans a legend!
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

If you're into Johnny Cash you'll love it Mynameisred, also heard his last album
"The man in black " is outstanding.

I heard him once explain that he always wore black after he got rich and famous because the people he sang for and about were usually dirt poor blue collar folks and he didn't want them feeling he was no longer one of them by dressing up in "fancy" coloured clothes.

whatever happened to cast? it was a shame they split up. cracking band from the britpop era.  :Oo:

Met John Power in the Crash rehearsal studio in Liverpool city centre about seven years ago when I was in a band.  Cast were quite popular at the time.  Proper stoner but a good fella.

I think Cast's bass player was in Shack with Mick Head at one time.

Myself I love everything that sounds good to my ear, from Johnny Cash to Slipknot, from Korn to Ludacris, from The Neptunes/N.E.R.D to System of a Down.

System of a Down, Slipknot and Korn....I bet none of ye wouldn't have thought of that!  :D

thats quite a mix of styles there JBG!!! i wouldnt have expected anything less from the ultimate diplomat  :D
