I've won a few things in my time, most braggable probably playing cards for money, but most recent being a cake in the "guess the weight" competition for charity. All the wimmin were guessing in lbs and ozs, I couldn't make an educated guess and having worked in distibution went for kgs and would have been even closer if I'd gone with 2.31 kg instead of 2.34 (prefer the 2-3-4 sequence) I've won a few minor competitions before, one I guess I was happiest winning was as part of our school hockey tournament winning team. I'd played my part on the left wing in us being three wins out of three and facing the team with all the school team players/THE team to beat. It was 0-0 at half-time, our keeper keeping us in it. My mate was playing left side of defence and always bragging how he could hit the ball off the end of the pitch so I told him to do it. He did, I stitched up my marker and set-up one, scored one and played a part in the the other. Next year the t w a t who was made captain put me in goal, the star goalie up front for no good reason and we did nothing. Then again he was FOS

When I was at Working Links (a voluntary jobcentre type place), they did quizzes where the winner would get a £10 voucher to spend at tescos. I won £30 in all, 3 weeks running. They stopped doing the quizzes shortly after as most of the people there were dumb as mules and I was cleaning up. Shame really, I was onto a good thing there.

Hmmmm...

I remember entering this competition for these little toy figurines, can't even remember what they were but they had neat little holograms on their chest. Won £10 on the lottery a few times, other than that nothing.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

:D Yeah they have some good competitions on there, I have found that fastest texter wins most of the time. Store the number then as soon as they start talking and giving details of the competition get ready to send the answer, worked for me  :;):
