No Scouser's over 40 on this Forum then ???
anyone remember Kios boots ,Inega jeans, The End fanzine written by Scouser's for Scousers
Transalpino tickets ?

I have never thought of myself as a voyeur ,or indeed having any voyeuristic tendencies but when I went away with the Reds way back then , I was obsessed with what trainers everyone was wearing ,I remember seeing my first Nike Waffle in the Kop they were bright blue with a red swoosh ,instantly I assumed this Lad headed a top crew mainly because of his footwear ,in the 80's this was the only ID you needed a cool pair of trab's would open doors .....

I found this out for myself when I procured my first Transalpino ticket and spent a month travelling Europe with other like-minded scallys
I came back to Liverpool with Adidas Zelda ,and Forest Hills to say this footwear made you feel special would be a serious understatement
Like you were 10ft tall you stood with the Lads on the Kop and you felt untouchable ,part of a special family

I know it sounds ridiculous ,even reading it back I find myself amazed at how superficial  it seems ,but back then it was what defined you cool clobber simple as that

good find, columbia and galaxy required...again. I've had trimm trab, grand slam, forest hills tournament edition and munchen over the last few years but I have to say theyre not comfy, theyre flat footed and whilst are excellent on the eye I stop wearing em and put the modern cushioned trainees back on.

Not scouse, and too young RBG but I did read a book by Nicky Allt and he illustrated the importance of your outfit in Liverpool in the '80's very well. He used to sit on the Annie Road. He reckoned scousers were responsible for bringing a lot of these brands to Britain because they spent so much time in Europe.

You must have seen some wild times.
