Adams and Merson are on my list, not come across the McGrath one yet but I will defiantly keep an eye out for it.

He tells stories but as he can't remember how most of them ended (blackouts) other people then join in with a few paragraphs of what Paul did next. Drinking Domestos was a bit of a low.

It got best sports book in Ireland and they gave him an award at.................the Guinness storeshouse, I kid you not :no

Other good sports book is Jimmy White, mad life he had - even as a kid, Alex Higgins too - first chapter he won the title in 1972, second chapter starts with "and then the slide began"

Shity almost forgot,

One of the best although I read it so long ago I forgot,

'who ate all the pies, the Micky Quinn story' That was hilarious.

He was a character okay. Great to see a fatty scoring so many goals.

I don't read the ones still playing unless they've had a crazy life. Most footballers are boring "I was gutted," "I was over the moon" so the screw ups are more interesting.

Spot on, if t hey still have a career then the story is not finished. I made the exception for the Fowler book cause his career ended when he went to Leeds.
