I think one of Houliers (and the LFC board's) biggest mistakes was buying a Cut-Price-Kewell instead of stumping up the 15Million for Duff.

End of story.

I can honestly say I can not recall ever seeing Kewell turn in anything like an awesome performance in any game for the Red's. Please someone remind me if I have had a senior moment while that game was on and missed it !!
And right enough, last night he had enough good ball to impress, but he was just not at the party. He did not look if really wanted to be involved with the action at all. :suspect:

THing is, this guy is worth millions, and i was majoryl shocked against man city home game, when he couldnt control the ball, pass it properly, or beat a single player with the ball. i mean he was just AWFUL!

i dont think he is gonna get any better, if i was Rafa id just start playing warnock full time.

Just shows the knowledge GH possessd,little and none spring to mind.

Houllier had C Ronaldo handed to us on a plate and just look what the fookin lad does against us,that my friends is called irony,we have held a gun to our own head as a club time and time again but under Rafa i'm Optamistic we will come good.

If one were to analyse the biggest difference between ManU and Liverpool in yesterday's game it was the wingers. Ronaldo and Giggs made marauding runs along the wings whereas Kewell and Finnan were very ineffective.

Kewell really needs to be rested and replaced by Warnock. In the first half he was totally non existent. The effort and will clearly seem to be lacking. A couple of games on the bench will be a good motivating factor.

And as far as Finnan is concerned for all his trying he is not a winger and will never be one. I am waiting for the day when Nunez is available and I hope he is good. Well atleast he is a winger.

It is for the lack of supply that we are not able to utilise the services of Cisse as well. Having said that he needs to make some effort to get the ball himself. In a recent interview he said he is learning from Henry. I think this is one great virtue of Henry which he needs to inculcate soon if he has to succeed in the Premiership.
