Don't you understand the Bosman ruling at all peewee. Maybe we did not have to pay Leeds a lot. But I tell you where the money went. Every cent straight into the pocket of Mr. Kewell. Now that is the beauty of the Bosman ruling.  Kewell is a bosman bitch who did not give a ****** about Leeds and does not give a ****** about us either. He think he is better than all of us, and he is pretty darn satisfied with himself and his bank balance. Never expect a millionaire to get his hands dirty.

I have looked up a word in the dictionary:

EFFORT

[15th century. From French, formed from Old French esforcier  “to exert power,” ultimately from Latin fortis  “strong.”]

noun

1. energy or exertion: mental or physical energy that is exerted in order to achieve a purpose

2. use of physical or mental energy: the use of physical or mental energy, often in considerable quantities, in order to achieve a particular goal or overcome a particular difficulty

3. attempt: an attempt to do something, especially one that involves a considerable amount of exertion, work, or determination

4. something done: something that somebody has made or done, especially for the first time

5. physics applied force: the force input force applied to a simple machine that produces an effect output force on the load

i am certain we did not get kewell on a bosman free transfer as we also paid Leeds. i am sure you are mistaken on this one. money went to leeds, money went to kewell and money went to kewells agent.

correct me if i am wrong but i know im not   :D

Harry Kewell needs to come back from the dumps and start preforming like a class footballer that he already is

Things are not looking good for us now we are at the bottom half of the table and we need to start playing very good football, although i know it is still early but still! we need the results

If we play like this we will not even be looking at a 4th spot and Gerrards injury has ****** me off cos hes out for a fu*king million years. I expect all 3 points at Norwich if that is not the case i will get very angry! I definitly dont wanna see lackluster preformances such as Kewell against ManU cos if you wanna be lazy dont be a fu*king footballer

ManU fans dont get to happy because you still have to visit us at Anfield in January so u better watch out cos we'll be ready. Bring it on FatBoy Fergie

Arsene W*nker you think your so good cos your undefeated well when we play you u better wtach out cos we'll give u an ****** whopping i hope to play u very soon! infact i wished we could have played them yesterday instead of the Manc.

Arsene W*anker the next defeat that will happen to you will be against us so be afraid..be very afraid.

You know we're missing Owen already all u people said that we dont need him are silly cos we do need him infact! cos hes are best striker. Cisse and Baros will improve but will never be better that Michael Owen becuase hes one of the best in the world..we're already feeling the effects without michael cos hes pure mint

Im just gonna be straight Cisse and Baros are wonderful strikers but both of them ARE NOTHING! compared to michael owen when hes on his game

WE WERE ******, i dont understand why you can go with the "what if" theory.

ok i will adopt your tactic, yes the game would have been different, we may have concede 5 or 6. the fact is all too often we dont perform. thats a fact

Peewee:

I think Banana's point is that Kewell benefited from Bosman in that he could get away from Leeds while he was still in contract for a small transfer fee because Leeds knew they'd lose him on a free if they didn't sell him when they did.

As for costing us little, football today is dramatically different than 10 years ago. Transfer fees are only half the story of the cost, because if Kewell stays here for 4 years, he'll have cost us £10-15million in wages and agent fees alone.

thanks jbg, i was aware of his point, i was just being argumentitive as he was not technically a bosman. we are all aware of the hazards of this (Owen).

obviously the salary does add up also and we are in a position with kewell that he is going to be difficult to sell unless he pulls his finger out. the fact that we paid little up front will allow us to cut our losses now before they are too big (Heskey)

Surely if its true we have a manager who has no idea about commitment and effort and is so blind to these attributes in players he continues to play Kewell. What a load of tosh, if he didnt want to play football he could just quit Im sur ethe board wouldnt mind getting him off the wage bill if he is the type of charecter you all say he is. Another thing how the hell do any of you know. If you think that by reading the tabloids and having an opinion of his performances on the pitch you know him then you are quite simply all crackers, unless Ive got it wrong and you all pop round his for tea and biscuits whilst discussing his bank balance. Everyone is entiltled to an opinion but i would prefer it to have some reasoning and fact behind it.
One question would you honestly give kewell to United or Arsenal who happened to be two of the teams chasing his signature. I know I wouldnt even if he isnt doing the bizz at the mo.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but your defense of Kewell is laughable, not once did u back him me by telling us about how goods hes been on the pitch, and seriously do you think he earned his 50 grand he got for that game last night or any of the others in recent memory??? And i had plenty of fact behind my original post, the fact being ive watched Kewell over the last 9 months and he has been awful, and i have no doubt he will be on the bench on saturday, were he deserves.
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

at 60k a week i expect the lads to run until they have a heart attack. I love LFC greatly, but at times they were too casual!

I thought Bananas points was also that Kewell was in it purely for the money which if that was the case why didnt he join the MANCs

I agree with original post, in all the home games since start of last season, kewell has played well in about 2/3. His head just seems to go down for some reason, he cant chase or track back. I think Rafa will either drop him shortly, or replace him, when the transfer window opens. along with Cisse, who is going the same way.

Bruno Zidane! wrote:This is not of account of his pathetic performance last night, this has come from the last 9 months of Harry Kewell performances. I am disgusted by the way Kewell continues to perform week in and week out wearin the famous number 7 shirt of LFC, im not have hes short of confidence anymore or any other excuse people seem to throw at me, he quite simply is a fuc*in Sh!t house who isnt worthy of playin for LFC, once again we see Kewell disappearin once the mancs got on top, his workrate is shambolic for a professional footballer, everytime i watch Kewell when he gets beat by a man he stops runnin and points to the nearest player to chase back instead of him, and when he gets a pass he cant control the fuc*in thing. Kewell is supposed to be one of the senior member of are side yet he just strolls round the pitch, not encourging anyone, just thinkin about his 50 grand what will be in his wages next week, he sh!ts out of evry tackle and header and does not know the meaning of teamwork.....Kewell isnt suffering a dip in confidence, he simply cannot be assed fighting for the cause.I cant remember the last time i thought "Kewell gave is all today" even if he was suffering a crisis in confidence it doesnt mean he cant give a 100%.I know some people will disagree with me but this is just my honest opinion of someone not worthy to wear the Liverpool Jersey anymore.

i have slated harry kewell in the past and people on this forum said "he'll come good, he'll come good". well i'm sorry people, i just don't see it. he's a shadow of the player he was at leeds. personally, if i was the manager, i'd dock him a weeks wages for his performance last night. absolutely shocking.

just a message to harry. either you want to play for this club or you don't. if you do, ok you may be short on confidence, but at least put some f#cking heart into it.

its quite sad how things have turned out...
not so long ago he was heralded as the one player who would turn the club's fortune around..
Now, like i mentioned somewhere else before, he can't dribble past lamp posts.

I personally thought he was ****** too last night. Seemed vaguely lost and totally disinterested. But then again the team performance was abysmal. So writing him off based on last night's performance is still a bit harsh in my opinion.

he may not be worth his wages at the moment, but we all know what he CAN do.
And seriously, given warnock's inexperience, he's still our best man for the job, at least the opposition will be wary of him to a certain extent.

Until we find a better left winger...

I suggest we continue starting him. See which HK turns up for the match. If he plays like a retard then pull him off at halftime.
"I have said all along that we need time to improve as a team and it will probably be three or four months before we are playing at the level I want."- Benitez 29/08/04.
