people had been complaining about our bench, but if everybody's fit our bench could include the likes of Skrtel/Krygiakos, Insua, Lucas, Yossi, N'gog, Kuyt/Maxi

pretty solid options if you ask me.

Gerrard and Aqua swapping during the game....Kuyt to be brought on for yossi when we want to see the game out, maxi to be brought on when we want to get a goal.

havent seen maxi in our team yet so cant put him in just yet, might be taking yossi's place in a few months.....or riera....

just because someone hasn't played in England, doesn't mean people don't know anything about him or haven't seen him play

From the games I have seen Maxi play in Spain I would start him then bring Yossi on, It always seems he does better when he comes on rather than starting a game. I really do rate Yossi though he is class.

??.........i take it then that you don't watch spanish football.....which means you don't watch barca and real play every week (the 2 best footballing sides in europe).......again the lack of football knowledge from some people is laughable

I'd probably play Reina, Johnson, Aurelio, Carra, Agger, Mascherano, Aquilani, Kuyt, Maxi, Gerrard, Torres with key subs Benayoun (to replace/rest Gerrard, Maxi or Kuyt), Lucas (to rest/replace Gerrard, Aquilani or Mascherano) and N'Gog (to rest/replace/play alongside Torres) Too many seem happy to drop our second top scorer in the league, replacing him with someone who's yet to do anything and has never been a consistent scorer of goals - 42 in 145 apps for Atletico and 26 in 110 for Espanyol so around 1 in 4 as is reflected in his 10 in 35 apps for Argentina. He's only a few months younger than Kuyt, I wonder if he'll be putting in 2641 mins in 31 apps with eight goals. Maxi hasn't managed double figures since 05/06, whether his body and the player himself will cope with the rigours of the Premiership remains to be seen.

2 or 3 include Kuyt, no one has lucas anywhere near the 11, memo to rafa.
