Spot on Igor, but THIS is not Anfield, this is an internet site where people should be allowed to express their concerns and opinions about players, the team the manager and the owners. If I was at Anfield I would be shouting encouragement even to the few players who I DON'T THINK ARE GOOD ENOUGH FOR US AND the manager. On here I would rather voice my concerns, my opinion and where possible offer up alternatives and where we can improve.

The match is for Rallying cries, support and encouraging the players, for me the forum is for discussing and offering opinions. Not too many players will take heart from me writing LIV..ER...POOL on here mate.

how?

If on this forum all that we all did was

"COME ON RAFA, COME ON LIVERPOOL"

the forum would shut within a day and you know it.

:nod good post Igor,

Do you know what im experiencing this first hand at the mo. My daughter is 22 never been interested in football, but over the last twelve to eighteen months she has started to show loads of interest in us, Even went and bought herself a Liverpool shirt , against my advice like, but ive done nothing but argue with her about the team, the manager  the club,
She is reading to much what is said on them facbook forums, from whoppers who no nothing, She is reading sh.ite in the papers and listening to sky, But im slowly educating her on why our supporters and the club is special, She is not a fan of Rafa, and i can accept that , its her choice but i cant accept the bile that she is being fed by the forums , the media and so on, Ok i know i can say she is gullable and shouldnt be taken in , but its happening and its doing my head in. Im gonna start taking her the games and educating her,
At least ive got an allie against my son,  :;):

Nan I know what you mean my lad ,comes home from watching the match on sky in his mates ,and some of the garbage he spouts is unbelievable ,but I let him have his say and then I remind him of the qualities which makes  Liverpool fans deemed so special ,those being patience respect and above all the love of the Club ,then I remind him of how he felt when he used to watch the match on the Kop ,and how he felt like he belonged to the most exclusive family on the planet ,like nothing could dent the euphoria he was feeling ,not one journalist or writer could ever do justice to the sense of belonging that sitting in the Kop surrounded by a deafening wall of noise provided ,unless he was indeed party to the family that is Liverpool Fc

I expect that never to change Nan ,but we owe it to ourselves and our family to provide that bit of education .... Good post Girl  :D

why do we keep going over the same old thing, the mods have not said you cant say anything against the manager, can someone show me where it says that, or where they have said your not allowed to say anything against the players.

a few members have had there marching orders recently and now some think there is an agenda to silence theres views which is silly, this place was getting out of hand with some of the abuse that was being dished out to our manager and comments by so called reds wanting the team to lose, so it had to stop. since when did freedom of speech mean you could say what you wanted without being held responsible for it.

what we all need to do is stop turning every thread into a "should Rafa go or not" and be a little more tolerent of people who dont share your viewpoint.
