Folks
Quite literally, my job may in fact take me - reluctantly/screaming/kicking - to Coventry in the coming months. Now, I haven't yet had the pleasure of visiting the place, though I've been in Birmingham and was glad to leave PDQ.
Anybody got some pointers on non-infested hotels, eating places, things to do etc. ?

Awwww shyte, folks !
After reading your comprehensive and inspiring replies, I am now thoroughly depressed. I've seen and been to Birmingham on a couple of occasions - best thing about the place is the airport ... If it's worse than Brum, PHUCK !!
Still, I'm hoping I'll be able to tell the boss to go phuck himself before it comes to that, and go get a job elsewhere.
