I will be there tonight....and as i always do will shout for our team from the first to last whistle.....it's up to Benitez and his flops to do the business on the pitch....somehow i dont think many of them (with an exception or two) will be able to raise their mediocre preformances to the level that requires us to not only put spurs to the sword......but other teams that will follow......one swallow....does not make a summer as they say. ???  :no

You'll shout for the team, yet call them flops?

I agree With Ronnie Whelan - sack him now and give Dalglish 5 months to inspire the players until the end of the season and take it from there.

I imagine the players can't stand Benitez, he is annoying and unlikeable and I don't think any player feels any personal loyalty to him.

Benitez has been talking sh11te for a few seasons now.....he fools the "pro-Rafa brigade" very easily.......talk is cheap.......action is what counts....and Rafa has failed to deliver time after time.He comes out with these "lets all get behind the team" rallies and "pump up the volume sh11te" to deflect away from his inept and abismal record in the prem....it will be the same story after tonight....he has already practiced his "excuses speech" for after the game. :nod

See this...how is this bollox allowed to be repeated over, and over, and over by the same person? You woudn't even get this from an Arsenal/United supporter.

perhaps because they have managers who know how to get the best out of their players.........and know how to spot talent.....Benitez falls well short in both departments. :nod

So Wenger's getting the best out of his players yet still falling short in winning the title - tsomething you've said must be wrong then

we've consistently finished higher than them in the last few years. so this season alone you've concluded Wenger gets more out of his players? because before that we've been better than them.

Last season it was us fighting for the league and them struggling for fourth...

Flops? You forget to mention Anderson, Nani, and the two spanner twins. All of which are complete puddings. 18 million apeiece for Anderson and Nani. Cracker. The only solid thing about United is their defense, and now injuries have hit their back line, they look absolute cack all over the pitch.

shhh. nobody can criticise whiskeynose.

honestly though i watched them last night and it's the worst united side i've seen in years, which makes it all the more depressing how garbage we've been this season.

nani and anderson cost £30m between them (both are garbage imo). berbatov has to be one of the worst signings of recent years and yet ngog has score more goals than him this season, cost £1.5m and still gets slaughtered.

not to mention rafa being hammered from pillar to post for signing aquilani when ferguson brought hargreaves who had a similar injury record when he signed for united and now hasn't played a game for nearly two years.

I would say Degen and N'gog have been good buys...

Degen was free and he isnt a bad player to be fair, he is underrated. N'gog is just a kid and he is scoring goals for our first team.

Kuyt was a valuable player last season, the 2nd highest scoring winger in the league to ronaldo. We wouldnt have reached 2nd without him as he made 3 or 4 match winning goals.

Dossena was indeed a bad buy. Babel also appears to be but we may yet get a nice fee from selling him.
