Players, because right now we desperately need a couple of new players.

Any incoming manager would struggle to get enough out of the ones we've already got - the ones who are currently available for selection.

So calling a forum member a spastic is acceptable !!!!! Personally that does not worry me as it came from a complete dope. However some less fortunate people may just find the word somewhat offensive.

And to be pedantic I did not call Benitez a pr.ick I actually said that he comes across as a bigger pr.ick than Lando Griffin, who incidentally works from his own forum rule book. So just to clarify my opinion of Benitez is way beyond that of your average pr.ick.

I contribute towards the wages of Benitez and if he wants to behave in such a pathetic manner on national TV time after time then he deserves maximum criticism wether you like it or not. We currently have a manager who prefers to be seen cleaning his glasses rather than celebrating a goal but then you would call that the Benitez poker face!

Your moderation is about as consistent as PL refereeing decisions.

It is going to cost the club far too much to hay to pay off Benitez if they sacked him so soon after offering him a new contract so that seems a definitely no. But i cannot see Benitez walking of his own accord unless another big job came up in the near future, but his reputation could have been damaged this season so clubs may not be willing to take a punt on him. With finances tight at Anfield it may be a case of giving him time to generate funds by selling players, which he has been doing, and then try to rebuild the team on the cheap. The players at Liverpool really need to step it up over the coming months and show that they are worthy of wearing the red shirt. Both parties, the manager and the players, need to improve if we are to have a hope of finishing in the top four this season.
