It can get worse this weekend for starters. If I was a Stoke player Id be looking forward to playing us,in fact such is the state of our team at present I think they have a very good chance of beating us.What the fu'ck have we become and how the fuc'k have we become what we are so quickly?
Im bemused at how we can run close to winning the EPL in one season and then the next consistently play the most dull, passionless and pathetic football in the League. Its not over the top to say that teams in the relegation zone are playing far better football than us...its a fact.
Up until now in this season, our results and form were nothing to do with luck,They were all our own fault. But now we have our two best players injured and probably our biggest attacking threat(Yossi) bar the big two fuc'ked as well. This is absolutely rotten luck we could say....or is it.We have all known for some time that Torres needed an op and Gerrard was slightly injured and carrying a niggle.Out of sheer desperation to get out of a black hole the manager persisted playing both and now look what has happened? Sorry but IMO this is not bad luck,if you play guys that are carrying an injury no matter how slight there is only ever gonna be one outcome. It will sooner or later escalate...The unlucky part is that both happened at the same time. The reality is that the fact they are both injured as was always gonna happen is Rafas fault for playing them so much instead of getting them the treatment required.
Saying this Im 100% sure that if he had not played them he would have been hammered anyway as people would have been saying "A 70% Torres is better than a 100% Ngog"....probably true that but an injured Torres is as much use as Dot Cotton to us now!
I feel for Rafa, last nights interview post match was embarrassing for him and cringeworthy to watch as a passionate fan...it was actually very very sad to see.
The only thing I can give him credit for is actually doing a post game interview. In such dire circumstances many managers would shy away from the venomous questions from a patronizing journo and sent someone else out or just have said feck all.But we all know that Rafa is as stubborn as a mule and out he came trying to put a brave face on things...it did not work.Sorry but the truth is he looked like a fool!
Some on here I feel may gloat when he finally leaves(I fell now it will be soon barring a miracle),whether it be by sacking with a pay off, walking away or the one that is most likely, that term"mutual consent" (which means you will never really know what happened in plain English)
I could probably write a list now of at least 10 idiots on here that will be doing these.
and saying thank fu'ck and all that when the day comes
Im sure most on here will agree that Rafa has allways had the clubs best interest at heart but his methods and to a certain extent lack of personality just are not right for LFC in the longrun.Im sure he is hurting now more than us now, yeah he gets a wage we can only dream of but ultimately Id say success would give any football manager more of a buzz than any amount of cash ever will and is more important.
So hopefully when the day comes we can all wish him the best at Real Madrid and remember the good times he gave us rather than gloat and insult the man...it will not be a happy day!
Just pray to whoever you pray to that the two incompetent penniless pathetic imbeciles that "own" our great club bring someone in to replace him up for the job. With Klinsman almost here a while back because hes a friend or a friend of a friend or lives in California or whatever incomprehensible reason they had for him....I dont have any reason to believe the man in question will be what we need....so yeah things can get worse.
Bad times, sad times and Im gutted!
Top post mate.
This pretty sums up most of the fans on the forum and the pain they are going though now.
With the exception of the clueless muppets on both extremes, one side who has followed him blindlessly and can't bring themselves to swallow their pride and admit they are WRONG and the other side which have called him all kinds of sick derogatory names under the sun, these are sad, cruel times for the true fans of the club.
Liverpool has a way of winning spectacularly but also has a way of self imploding even more spectacularly. Despite all this lift your heads high, fellas, this won't last forever because if there is one thing we all know, we are still LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB, it's halftime and we are 3-0 down but WE will bounce back.
YNWA.
Nice post dude
