Maybe you should stop reading the papers and listening to idiot pundits.

Sadly to say Lando but that is exacly what a lot of our fan base have become, SKY SPORTS DICIPLES,

Ok i know there are fans who dont support the manager , thats down to them, its there choice, But anyone who thinks that this forum, (an im sorry mods, )  is speaking for the majority of the fans , yes they are deluded,

Rafas aloofness and subtle p'iss taking of journalists was once one of the highlights when we were doing well. And  we knew those journos would be cringing when they were proved so wrong with their predictions. Rafas sarcasm was amusing and refreshing and we all smiled smugly when he would make them fail at their job of trying to make a tit of him, only to see the tables turned.
The good old days.
Now he is like a crazed loon blaming everything but the problem:

"Perfect. The referee was  perfect"
and
"There were too many things I didnt like"

One of the worst things I felt during Houllier's last weeks was a painful gnawing embarrassment whenever he tried to defend the indefencible.
I am getting the same horrible feeling...

outside the forum there has been a big swing to sack him over the last 24hrs. but there are still lots that stand by him......but one by one we are shooting them......lol

Everyone at the end of the day is entitled to their own opinion (IMO :D ):D  and I don't like the way you get people on here trying to insult or have a go because you don't follow their beliefs, at the end of the day we all share one passion and that's Liverpool Football Club and if we have a difference of opinion then be it. It's just getting a bit boring now coming into here and just reading posts that are repetitive where people are just having a go at each other just because they don't share the same views,  have a discussion by all means but not were it comes to immature name calling or verbal abuse when you don't share the same point of view.:D

I personally have always been a Rafa supporter and it does sadden me to see the state of the current team,  I am however for the first time wondering where he is going to go from here and  i am thinking that we need a new manager but not because anyone has persuaded me in here or in the papers or those cowards on Sky Sports News.

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez must be sacked, says Ronnie Whelan

Ronnie Whelan has added his voice to the growing clamour for the sacking of Rafael Benitez as Liverpool manager.

Liverpool’s dismal season reached a new low last night when they crashed out of the FA Cup in a third-round replay against Reading, leaving Benitez battling to save his job. Last night's defeat ended Liverpool's best hope of a trophy this season, the club having failed to make the knockout stages of the Champions League and trailing 12 points off the pace in the Barclays Premier League.

On a night of abject misery at Anfield, Benítez was left to acknowledge that Liverpool’s situation is “really bad” and Whelan now believes the team needs a new direction.

"The way Liverpool have been playing, they have not been good," Wheelan said. "They have lost ten of the last 20 games. He should have gone a long time ago. They have got to do it now."
Whelan, who made 493 appearances for club, said Kenny Dalglish may be the man to steady the ship. "Do they bring in someone until the end of the season? Kenny Dalglish is back at the football club. Could he do it until the end of the season and see what happens?"

Jason McAteer, another former Liverpool and Ireland midfielder, admits had no excuses for their latest embarrassment as Shane Long's extra-time winner took the struggling Coca-Cola Championship club through.

"Sometimes you just can't defend that kind of performance. It was poor," McAteer said. "Liverpool just didn't really create anything and to be fair the better team won on the night."

Liverpool were weakened by the absences of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres for the majority of the game after the key pair were both forced off with injury.

To make matters worse, Liverpool's hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League have been hit by new injury blows to their two talismen, Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres and McAteer now has serious concerns for the remainder of the season.

"They are the two players who can create something out of absolutely nothing, they can produce a bit of magic," he said. "You just look around the team and when those two are not there, who is going to create that bit of magic? Where is that bit of leadership and quality?"

with Ian Rush saying sorth of the same thing this morning on SSN i can not see how Rafa can stand this one out

Carra makes Reds apology

We have to apologise for the way we performed. We have to give credit to Reading, hold our hands up. We all like to win but when you don't, you have to be a good loser.

"We have to accept they deserved it. But, at the same time, we have got to look at ourselves and the way we performed was not acceptable.

"We've got a massive game coming up against Stoke now. It will be very tough, as we played extra time and we have got to show enormous character to come back.

"But that's what we have got to do. We have got to move on but, at the same time, we have to say sorry to the fans who came to Anfield and all those watching on TV."

No excuses
Carragher also refused to blame off-the-field matters for the below-par showing.

"We have got to do better and we have got to recover," added Carragher. "There are still four months left of the season; it's been tough and this result has made it a little bit tougher for us.

"But we are Liverpool. We can't be where we are and we have got to improve. Liverpool Football Club demands certain standards. At the moment we are not reaching them and we know that but we have all got to come as one and stick together.

"The stuff that goes on off the field has got nothing to do with it. I don't think so anyway. If you say it has, you are only making excuses. Whatever goes on behind the scenes, we have got to do our own job

Aside from Kenny are there any ex players that have not said he should leave? Has Fairclough said anything? What about Aldo? This is silly the ex players should be backing him.

Lakes you maybe correct THIS FORUM, Now i dont want to cause controversy here by saying this but how many people on this forum are regular matchgoers, This Forum is for fans worldwide , Alot of the other forums ,OTK , TLW, THE Rattle , and you could say alot on RAWK , MOST of there members are matchgoers, Alot of these ssn polls you see are with votes from bitters, mancs and any other tom dick an harry fan, I have said already there are loads who want him gone an that is there right and ill respect them , but its also my right to support the manager without being called clueless . or an idiot ,

Your gonna need alot of bullets then  :;):
