Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

They say it will cost too much to sack Benitez. Well, it will cost the club more if they don't make the Champions League.
Now is the time to get King Kenny in to atleast the end of the season.

So people can rant and rave all they like but the simple fact is the club is skint, and if they take out another bank loan to pay him off you and me will be paying for his 20 million pound sacking.

Is correct.

Been saying this for a while.. if we were stable off the field, as opposed to being skint and not being able to afford a 20million pay off, and also had owners who knew about the game... rafa would be gone.

The players look lost.

No method in the performances... no controlled possession, no overlaps on the flanks, players running into one another, aimless hit and hope passing, narrow congested play...

They have no idea what they are doing.

He persists with dross in lucas, kuyt and ngog..and the more the media criticise them, the more his stubborness kicks in to play them.

We know that rafa is an oddball.. a bizarre weirdo who talks pap in interviews, goes off in a tangent and never answers what the interviewer asks... but its the fact hes a bluffer, a bullsh*tter that is a major concern..because when his teams get played off the park (as as often been this season with now 11 losses) he will come out and state "we were controlling the game"...and this farcical viewpoint only feeds the ridicule he gets in the media, pundits, fans of other teams. He was told before tonight that Gerrard (in usual raw honesty) stated we were lucky to get away from Reading still in the Cup... to which Rafa said "i dont think so"... which shows one man aint happy with how we are doing and is honest, while the other bulls*ts and attempts to papers over the cracks, thus doesnt address the problem. Delusional. Houllier was exactly like this...infact he questioned the fans even having a say (on the radio).

Never been a fan of him (tinkering, negative constrained football, diabolical manmanager who alienates players, awful substitutions, and lies in analysis)

Rafa ordinarily would be fired... but as we are a basket case in the boardroom, our problems are pretty much everywhere.

His costing the owners too much to keep him, give him 20mil and save 10mil sounds a good idea.

I dont think he wont be sacked because we cant afford to. I think its because the fans havent turned on him yet and the yanks dont want to upset them any more than they have already. He has lost the players, who are leaderless, rudderless, clueless. He has slowly but surely been dragging the players into a state of confusion whereby nobody knows what to do and everyone is waiting for someone else to do it for them.
I think he will stay till the end of the season because he will be given a chance to turn it round. But no matter what happens now, even if we come fourth, his time must surely be up?
