I would also like VDV and Turan but before those 2 we need another striker!!! From what I've seen Dzeko looks the part. Also we should be looking at Chamakh on a free in the summer.

Also on another issue has anyone noticed on matches when ever the cameras are on Benitez he only seems to be talking with Pellegrino and not Sammy Lee? This seems a little strange to me, does he even confer with Sammy? You look out for it

Dzeko?

Please come back from dreamland.  We're talking about 25 million here. Which bank should we rob?

Yeah it is a bit of a dreamland buy.

But if we do manage to get 4.5 million for Dossena, 9-10 million for Babel, 2 million for Voronin we may be able to do something.

I think Dossena and Voronin are pretty much definately out this window. Not sure if Babel will go, but if he does it then depends whether we are given all of those funds for re-investment.

Also if Dzeko is worth 25 million (I think more 20), we can always strike a deal of 15 million up front then installments etc. We just have to hope teams buying our 3 players above don't do the same.

To add to the other 3 we may make money off Degan, Itandje and El Zhar (i would sell, he is 23 after all) if there are any takers.

So it may be possible with some very clever whealing and dealing, but I agree still very unlikely!!!!!

Also I would wrap up the Chamakh signing for free in the summer before Dzeko approach (Oh how I love to DREAM)

Then VDV and Maxi on loans would make me a very happy man :eyebrow

Sky sports said maxi is a permanent deal, anyone know how much he'll cost us? i think we need another striker before a right mid so the money might be better spent

I would guess 3 million maximum for a permanent deal as he is on a free in the summer

i really hope its not anything more, we'd probably still have enough for a striker like paveluchenko if it was 3m

There is some talk of Chamakh for 8 million on a permanent deal. Unlikely I think though.

But if we did do both deals, that would be 11 million spent on 2 players for nothing in the summer  :glare:

Daily Mirror saying that we turned down a £5Million bid by Olympiakos for Benayoun.

Olympiakos are now lining up a bid for Riera...

1.5 million, 2 year contract

Cant yous people read , dosnt matter who we get rid of January , none of the money will be reinvested back into buying players, So it dosnt matter weather they stay or go , were not gonna be buying anyone big, The only thing that will help is the reduction in the wage bill for them two,
