Yeah plays for Crystal Palace. We along with a host of other clubs are supposedly monitoring him. But like every other up and coming English prospect we will probably let him slip. I think Palace are asking for 5mil. What you heard Nan? There is some goss in the rags about him today too.

Greece international right-back Vasilis Torosidis is a target for Liverpool.

The Mirror says England full-back Glen Johnson, 25, faces three months out after tearing medial ligaments in Tuesday’s 1-0 win at Aston Villa.

And Reds boss Rafa Benitez is now deciding whether to bring in a cheap replacement.

Olympiakos Torosidis, 24, fits the bill as he has 25 caps for his country.

He is available for a knock-down fee and already has Juventus clamouring for his services.

Well ive just been wishing my mate in Madrid happy new year and just happend to ask :laugh:

what the goss was on RVN, coming here , according to them , they have heard nothing about any approach from Rafa or our club regarding him, and unless he is ding a deal in private behind Madrids back he will not becoming here because they no nothing,

Little side swipe though from them,you never know anything could change,

It was in yesterday's BBC gossip from a paper, not that anyone much bothers to quote their sources.

Liverpool could move for Olympiakos right-back Vasilis Torosidis as a replacement for their injured defender Glen Johnson.
