I got married, bought my first house and seen my folks split up. I was made redundant 3 times, been all over the world on holidays and went from drinking very heavily to not been able to drink 2 pints without getting sick for 2 days. Gave up smoking and went on to run a marathon.

So what has the last 10 years brought you......

I've accomplished absolutely nothing in the last 10 years... erm... made 20,000 posts?
Increased my debts to banks by thousands and thousands... and drank a lot...
I've seen a plethera of boobies and bottoms, back and front.

Let's see what happens in the next 10

left england to live in spain
had a kid
finally starting getting a bit of recognition internationally for what i do
got 10 years older
started the decade with regular 3 day benders and ended like DD unable to drink more than 2 or 3 pints at a go without feeling like death
lived in 6 different flats
downgraded from a bmw 3 series to an old renault clio
said a sad final goodbye to far too many friends
saw a lot of other friends produce offspring
learned to speak spanish
forgot how to speak english
didn't have a single fight
didn't have a single car crash
didn't experience a single plane crash, earthquake or tornado
travelled to the states four times, australia, japan twice, norway, slovenia three times, italy, france lots of times, sweden, germany three times, austria, switzerland, singapore, and other places...
wasted about 8,679 hours talking ballcocks on here

etc etc etc etc....

10 years ago I started my college days.
To make the story short -> heavy drinking days & other stuff

(but that was college days) -> first job -> married man -> father -> my own first flat -> my first car -> workaholic trying to keep up the family and budget together.
Most of the times I'm tired as f'uck but happy with what I've accomplished

How did you quit smoking DD? I've tried a few times and ever only seem to get fatter and of course to no avail.

Moved to Australia, bought an investment property, got engaged and now work in a remote Aboriginal community.

Had a new addition to the family.
Broke me bleedin, racist frog boss' nose and relocated my entire team to a different firm.
Finally bought some property back home.
Celebated our 10th anniversary and looking forward to the 15th soon.
Discovered that I loved Japan and its people and culture.
Almost got killed in Nigeria on a job.

That's about all really....

I always smoked a lot when I drank but I can really drink anymore now so the smokes just really died off when I stopped drinking. I still miss them every now and again but most of the time they dont bother me
