Lakes dont you think the players need to look at themselves aswell as Rafa? They have been awful. And Rafa has made some mind boggeling decisions this season. The continuation of Lucas and Kuyt even though Lucas has hardly put a foot wrong this season he does the same job as masch.

Im past getting angry TBH.

yes the players need to look at themselves but at the same time Rafa needs to put out his bet team right at the start, also the way the team is sent out to play can be very strange sometimes

The players MUST take some responsibility of course.

BUT...

Players do not become bad over night, this squad is the same (barring Alonso out and Johnson in) as our successful last season. When the squad is so unchanged, the burden lies with Rafa.

If it was Alonso that held the team together and the reason we have failed so badly then it's definitely Rafa's fault, for letting his relationship degrade to the point of selling him.

Rafa has no hiding place. If he had any care for the club he would do a Houllier and leave.

We shouldn't have let Sami go he must have been a big influence in the dressing room.

Time has run out for excuses first he said he aint got a full squad to choose from, then the players returning aint fully fit, well today we had a fully fit squad and what happens we lose 2-0 to the bottom team, wats the odds of him being honest like keegan and just saying "Sorry i cant take this team any further" i'd say none cause he will just try to con us with another bull story i'm sick and tired of watching this current team ruin the Great name of Liverpool apart from few players the rest of them aint playing for the shirt get rid of them raise some money and give it to a Manager who knows what he needs to do like buying a 2nd striker who will get at least 15 goals

No doubt the post match interview will tell us how we worked hard , how we controlled the game for long periods and how the sending off was a turning point...

Writing is on the wall I fear.

Just can't see Rafa being able to justify his job. Quite disappointed and I'd have to agree now that he has lost control of the team.

Perhaps the players should read the words of YNWA and understand what it means to face just a small bit of adversity on the field.

The minute we start playing poorly, the team just buckles up.

Managers come and go, but would hate to see yet another "re-building" exercise that would put us back a couple of years easily.

Just sick and gutted :(

bellix, mate.....the club is regressing every single day. the players AND the manager are responsible...i missed the sending off but from what i read here, it was a daft challenge, proabbly another player disillusioned and most likely gone at the end of the season....
as should the manager be....

The definition of madness is doing the same crazy thing again and again. The system is not working, the key players in the system are either not available, unfit or in poor form, yet we pesist in the same false hope...

We have a manager right now who simply hopes for a better game, a better call, a better use of chances, a better injury situation, all the while persisting in the same system, waiting for the 60min mark to make the same fcvking changes...

A team lacking in confidence, in poor form and down on its luck needs a spark to reignite things, not the hope of a better day!

I think the man has lost it!
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Masch goes to Barcelona, and the sum received will pay off rafa. Could easily happen.

I've always backed Rafa to the hilt , but I have to say the doubts are creeping in.There's no passion, no desire and no commitment , there is obviously something very wrong inside our club. Some of the players look to have given up even some of the senior players. Sick of this season and sick of the likes of Andy Grey and Keys trying to hide their glee at our predicament and not succeeding. Hope we can turn things around ASAP but having doubts that anything will change.Rafa is too stubborn for his own good, and ours.
Just come out of hospital after a major operation and this is not going to help my recovery, gutted.

We saw against Wigan that we look a lot better with Gerrard in midfield, so why change it and bring Lucas back in

To be fair to Masch, it was a daft challenge today, but against Wigan he was MOTM by an absolute mile.
Showed more passion & determination that night than most did today.
Though he is too reckless for his own good sometimes, he certainly doesn't play like he is on his way out.

Gerrard should be centre midfield again now - any idiot can see the centre isn't functioning - well apart from the manager that is!

According to Rafa we were a good team in the 1st half and the sending off was a turning point!
