Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ola Mr Benitez » Fri Dec 18, 2009 11:57 am

Id love horse face with us.. the guy is quality even though he is getting on a bit..  Better than Voronin:p
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

I'd take him though, I'm a Liverpool supporter not a supporter of individual players

If he's going to win us games and get us goals then I say get him in. Certainly a better option than most of our striking options at the moment even if he is aged now, one of the best poachers going

We've got no money, I doubt we can get anyone better. And our striking options are sh.it.

REALLY???

With all the players Utd have had over the years?

im not so sure about you, but im a Liverpool fan  :;):
who do YOU like?

Daft reply.
Just because you admire players with another club doesn't mean you're not a "proper" Liverpool fan...

yeah? well i agree. and therefore it means its a personal opinion right? which makes whichever i support from any other club my personal choice hence i didnt see why another poster had to ask "REALLY???" with 3 question marks and capital letters. its a type of reply i expect someone like GYBS to post.

RVN would be a brilliant signing, he is cover for torres nothing else and ngog would learn loads from him.

he is the best striker ive seen with his back to goal, and thats how he plays, he is a 6 month or year stop gap, and i think he could become a bit of a legend like mcallister in such a short space of time, especially if he scored a couple against the mancs.

another player who is on a free is adriano and i'd sign him too

Actually, "im not so sure about you, but im a Liverpool fan" sounds more like a GYBS post.

Yawn inducing and utterly meaningless.

You were asked "REALLY" capital letters + 3 question marks, because I find it remarkable (Liverpool fan or not), that someone would admire just 3 (and those 3?) players, out of all the players that have passed through Utd's ranks over the years.

yer all happy when we sign a right full who can't defend for 20m, and when we get the chance to get rvn on loan ye all give out, his goal record is second to none, he might have struggled with injury the last few years but he's proven quality with loads of experience, much better than owen and look what he's doing

Van Nistelrooy wants to move so he can play first football in order to win a place in the Holland squad for the world cup. If he came to Liverpool he would get a 6 month contract, be second fiddle to Torres and be on a reasonably high wage. Unless we are planning to give Torres the operation he needs this move is not logical for anyone.

Therein lies the problem with playing one striker up top, you can't expect to keep 3-4 quality strikers happy if only one is starting and the rest waiting for subs appearances, an injury or change of formation. That's partly why I was so keen for us to try and get Tevez, play a formation more like 4-3-3 than 4-5-1. I'm sure Torres could play a RWF role which would free up noodleboy to take up residence in the six yard (horse) box
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
