what are the players saving themselves for though? they are capable of so much better but have not been showing it. besides injuries and managerial faults, they do have to shoulder some blame for the spot they are in.

Knowing Rafa we'll probably see a lot more Torres & Riera & Aquilani resting because of their injuries and i'd much rather he do that in the Europa league rather than risk results in the easier league fixtures... As things stand, salvaging anything from this season means getting a top4 spot, not winning a Europa league contested by 2nd rate European sides... Wouldnt prove a thing if we did win it anyways...

that is not a bad draw, lets hope some of the younger ones get a bit of action in those few games and we get through and then see where we are in the league and what we need to work on. but we should get past those teams ok
