Nearly a kuyt special there. Headed out by Bramble flush into the chops of an unsuspecting Dirk, almost ricoched past a nonplussed kirkland.

Gerrard twisted the right full back and then almost got it accross for a tap in. Anyone imagine Lucas doing that?

We assume he's still recovering from the injury that had him out for three weeks, or else he's not fully match fit. Frustrating as :censored: TBH, especially with Johnson being out AGAIN and Aquilani not starting AGAIN. Surely we've got to get our best 11 out a few games in a row to try and salvage something from this season? ?????

He should of played it in first time - had players in the box and plenty of time to cross - by twisting the full back it enabled the full back to close the angle down - it looked good thou .

if things stay the same then it looks a lot better. Although Villa are five points ahead like. I think their squad is too small tho to cope for the whole season
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Not to get into an arguement but Lucas isn't given the tactical freedom to be allowed to express himself the same way Gerrard is
