"Especially a Liverpool supporter. We are unique. Special. The best"

blah blah blah.

given the fact we were one of the favourites this year, this season has been nothing short of shambolic, and just because someone may boo it doesnt make them any less of a supporter than you, so you fook off, it just means they are not happy with whats happening on the pitch, as they sit there in the freezing cold expecting their team to turn over teams who would we should be beating, especially at anfield.

Yes it does make them less of a supporter.
It makes them a shi'thouse.
Youve got it the wrong way round.
If YOU dont like it then YOU fu'ck off and leave the people who support the team to get behind them.
If you want to show your displeasure dont go.
Dont sit there in the freezing cold.
Stay in your warm house and boo to your hearts content

Lads, can we drop the "I'm a bigger supporter than you are" nonsnense please? It's like two 4 year olds in a schoolyard.

As we are not allowed to say anything about changing the manager, I won't.

What can we do?

Hope that Villa, Fulham, Birmingham, Spurs and City cave in under the pressure in the run in as I expect that is what Rafa feels will happen when he guarantees we will finish in top four.

Relying on other is dangerous as we found out in the UCL.

starting tonight the team need to show some urgency, a bit like the first 20-25 minutes on sunday. our play is so laboured at the moment. the players need to stop feeling sorry for themselves.

You dont boo your own players or team fullstop mate.

That helps nobody, we might not be happy with how things are going but we are better than that.

Unfortunately that's the modern day "fan" for you. The atmosphere at home games has been dreadful for some time now.

Too many people who think their job is done by sitting on their ar$e and whinging instead of getting behind the side and playing a part in the atmosphere.

No i have never shouted get him off or boo'd a player.

It wont help anyone, it wont influence a stubborn manager anyway.
It just puts even more pressure on the players and the team mate.
Like roger said, if you are unhappy you dont have to go.
I am sure there would be fans that are wanting tickets that would try and get behind the players despite these sickening results.

Just so you know, i am not saying you are a worse fan than people that dont boo. You are clearly a fan if you go the match and the results are getting you down.

I just dont agree with what you (or any fan that boos) are doing, and think it just makes things worse.

Inspiration from the manager would help get things back on track.

A bit of the old bulldog fighting spirit and English grit with fire in the bellies would also help get us back on track.

shanklygates wrote:guys tbh we are only second to chelsea for goals scored.

we need to stop getting beat.

4-0 vs Stoke
4-0 vs Burnley
6-1 vs Hull

That's 1/3 of our goals (overall) in just 1/8 of our games, only on two other occaisions have we scored three goals - vs strugglers Wet Sham (19th) and Notlob (17th) In terms of Premiership games, those 14 goals make up nearer half than 1/3 with the other 18 coming in 13 games (1.38 gpg)

What we need to do is score 2+ goals more consistently as we win most games where we do this. We are badly lacking in goals, exposed by Torres' absence and a lack of cover.

Our most common scoreline this season is 1-2 and we've gone in front in three of those games only to lose. I think the team's confidence isn't the only factor, it is a lack of knowing what to do - stick or twist. While we are tentatively trying to defend a 1-0 lead, we aren't pushing for more goals and our defence is too shakey to be trying to defend narrow leads. I've maintained for a long time we give away too many needless free-kicks and corners.
