Kuyt. Good free kick. Quick thinking from Kuyt. Good goal.

We will get another goal before the half time whistle.

Good first half, could have been 2 or three . All the players look up for this one. Very pleased so far.

Told ya  :;):

Anyway I think we're very good value for the lead and perhaps could have put it to bed. I did think Lucas was offside for the goal as the ball nearly hit him, but then I thought Gerrard's was a stone wall penalty so it all balances out. TBH I thought Kuyt was terrible apart from the goal, but no doubt that'll be controversial.

Second half I'd expect them to play with a lot more zip, and I think before the hour they'll bring Eduardo on and go 4-4-2. We should get the opportunity to nick a second as it opens up a bit, and we're looking good.

Mick you should apply to replace Rafa  :;):

Fantastic half, what a difference torres make to the team, just wow. Bossing the defence and causing problems, arsenal never a clear chance on goal. If we continue like this in the 2nd half, we should win this easily. Torres-Gerrard partnership, that was the difference. Also credit due to masch, lucas, carra and agger, stuffed out any arsenal attempts. Very happy :D

Made up with the way we played in the first half, the lads are working there socks off , closing them down, not giving them a chance to play, Cant fault anyone , Two of our players though are standing out for me, Mascherano absolute monster, and Agger just claas
