any slip ups in the next 6 games must not happen, most of them are easy games with lower teams.
but keep in mind that if we win 5 of the next 6 it might just be wallpaper for the real problem.

Oh I didn't realise the games up to now have been against great opposition.  :Oo:

If we win 10000000-0 , bet you Aquilani gets more than 45 seconds on the pitch

i'm not so sure if rafa would risk him in a game where the opposition are going all out for a consolation goal.

Grobbelaar slates Benitez’s deal for Liverpool signing Aquilani
27.11.09 | tribalfootball.com

Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar says it's Rafa Benitez and not the club's American owners who is responsible for the club's predicament.

Tom Hicks and George Gillett have been roundly criticised over Liverpool's Champions League failure this week.

But Grobbelaar told TalkSport: “People talk about the owners, get rid of the owners. What happens if they do get rid of the owners? Who’s going to take over? How do we know that we are going to get the money to buy the players?

"The man’s had 200 million to buy players and look what he’s got. You buy a player that has been on a treatment table. He’s not really fit but I want him anyway. It’s like going into a car showroom and saying, ‘I want that Bentley’ and the fella coming to you and saying, ‘well it’s got no engine’, it doesn’t matter, I’m going to take it anyway.”

First Souness now Grobbelaar. Everyone needs to shut the feck up and let him get on with the job. FFS as if he isn't under enough pressure as it is. May as well sack him then if our own past players are going to start having pops at him.

I'm not saying that the manager is unsackable, but we still have no idea how this season's gonna turn out. Managing a team when the owners don't like you or each other and don't give you enough money or a new stadium they promised is, in two words, quite difficult. If we brought someone else in, they'd still have no money and have to deal with the infighting from above. I'm not saying Rafa hasn't made mistakes, but EVERY manager makes mistakes.

Stick together, support the team and the manager, and help turn our season around, starting this weekend against Everton.

I said a few weeks ago that I'd give him until the end of the season but I honestly don't think he will last that long.

Unless there is a dramatic change, Rafa is a dead man walking.
