Who are the other options ?

Benayoun on the right? Gerrard on the right, Aquilani in the middle?

All three been injured and who plays on the left ?

I disagree with a lot of the crticsism that Kuyt is getting here. He doesn't deserve any of it. He does, however, need to be benched because the man tries too hard, so much so, that he's excerting himself too much during games and it's telling in his control and vision where he just needs to lift the head. That's tirdness. Yossi would be a great option on the right.

are you talkin about now or when everyones fit? right now we have no choice but to play him, but when Riera and Benayoun are fit he surely has to be dropped, but i severly doubt Rafa will drop his golden boy.

you taking the mick? Kuyt dosnt deserve criticism, he has been abysmal lately and people are begining to notice. The thing that really grates me is that Kuyt clearly gets special treatment from the boss, which isnt Kuyts fault but he never gets dropped no matter how badly he plays.

Who in the club has produced more from the right side over the last couple of seasons - no matter what people think of him he proved himself to be an important first team player and will continue to do so until a better option is brought into the club .

Kuyt does the same thing season after season. Plays like a rapist until march, then scores a few goals and saves his skin for another year. Not good enough, and never will be, whats most worrying is that the manager values him as an indispensible member of the team! he plays every game for 90 mins when he barley deserves it, its unfair and im sure it must :censored: the other players off. If Benayoun got the same chance Kuyt got on the right he would get the same amount of goals and probably more assists, whilst playing the role how a right midfielder should.

Yet Yossi spends most of his time cutting inside leaving the right back exposed . Yes Kuyt is going through a poor stage but started season off well get 4 goals and a fair number of assists just like he did last season starting off well and finishing well , name me one player who goes through the whole season on top of his game throughout and never has a dip in form - Kuyt has more than deserved his shirt on plenty of occasions - he was one of our crucial players last season and it seems that when kuyt plays well the team play well .

He is an indispensible member of the squad - the manager , the players , the coaching staff and the majority of the fans know it- some never will .

The problem is no matter what Kuyt does some will never ever see his true value to the team - he could hit 30 goals a season and some will always slag him off .

In fact lets just agree to disagree

Kuyt once again for the umptieth time prove his doubters wrong during the season .

I don't think he is indispensable.

Kuyt dosnt just have dips in form though does he, he goes whole months without having any positive effect on the team. He has been at Liverpool for 4 years, and not once has had a season were he has played well for even half of it. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if he scored 30 goals a season, no one would care that he has the touch of a rapist on day release, or the vison of a blind man and all his other glaring lack of talents, but he dosnt score 30 does he!

He can do a job and is probably good enough for the bench, but the blatant favouritism shown to him by the manager is unfair and detrimental to the team.

Like i said agree to disagree - going back over this thread no matter what kuyt was doing - scoring or creating goals their were a small minority who were still slagging him off and always will do .

He will never be good enough for some but lucky enough they are in the minority and dont have anything to do with picking the team . Thats left to the people who know what they are doing .

Ok why does it always have to turn to insults ? Why ? is it that hard to debate on this forum without someone insulting someone else - I have my opinion - you have yours - have said we will agree to disagree and i have done it without lowering the level but throwing any insults around .

Maybe the minority on here but certainly not in the stands where it counts .
