I can see there has been a number of WUM on this forum today and for the last few weeks I am a what you may call a 'quiet' poster and find it hard to ‘argue’ the facts perhaps I am getting too old …. lol.

NEVERTHELESS I am a 52 year old Liverpool Supporter

Well people … I have seen it all, I have been ‘there’ involved in the highs and lows I have cried and yes I have laughed until my stomach could take no more, I have screamed, I have sighed, I have worn my shirt with pride, I have been shocked, I have been proud ... all of this because I love 'ONE' team.

BUT whatever argument you can throw at me and there will be many ….above all we wanted to win the Primership the most important thing in this country and that’s what Rafa was appointed and paid to do.

Five years ....How much has he spent? ... How many titles has he won ….?

Raffa is obviously an honest guy but he's just not up to the task. We won No5 because he was forced to play Hamman in the 2nd half - was not a miracle decision, was not a stroke of genius, the man didn't have a clue !!!

in terms of the most ridiculous posts i have ever read on this forum, that has to be right up there. :no

To me the question is simple will Rafa win the league at Liverpool? To be honest I am unconvinced by things such as his tactics, marking system, late substitutions, unconvincing signings, either in terms of value or performance, media relations etc.

All in all he doesn't convince me that last season was anything more than a purple patch, in fact take away the doubles over Chelski and the mancs that are normally "nil pwa" and we've have been back down around our the 74 point mark as is relatively usual. I said way back that we would struggle to repeat some of the good wins we achieved last season, and so we have.

If we succeed in qualifying for the Europa Cup then I will look forward to drinking Lager from a Stein in Hamburg, rather than wine from a Porron in Madrid. :D

I am completely convinced that as soon as we get rid of Rafa our fortunes will turn around and if we got rid of him now then 4th spot is still well within reach, if we wait too long then we are in serious trouble of being completely out of europe which will mean zero transfer budget and the start of a spiral downwards, we have to get rid of Rafa now, in my opinion it is every bit as important as getting new owners. How tempting to you guys think Liverpool is as an investment right now??

tell me how getting rid of rafa will stop experienced footballers making basic mistakes which are costing us?

Maybe by getting in a manager who will make damned sure they don't make those mistakes.

What's he gonna do? Sit in the dressing room with an Ak-47 and threaten to shoot them if they do make mistakes? Players aren't robots. The game of football is human, and if players didn't make mistakes, no goals would be scored. On other occasions, luck comes into it. We've currently got none of that stuff.

unfortunately football is different to any other profession. in any job, if you don't perform to your ability you more than likely get fired. in football, even if top players are performing poorly it's always themanager who faces the bullet. the modern day footballers get away with murder imo.

and as for judge saying we should get in more experienced players, what difference would that make? the likes of carragher and gerrard have been responsible for daft errors this season. is that rafa's fault aswell? does rafa make gerrard dive in and commit a ludicrous penalty against villa? ditto carragher against west ham? the players have to stand up an be counted. the manager can only do so much.

if we had a team full of gerrards, torres' and carraghers (in his younger days, lol), then i feel we would be doing much better than we are. we are not, therefore, what i said is valid.

daft errors are committed by any player stmike, so i dont understand what u mean. but those errors are committed more by lesser players than the better ones on average!!....dont u agree

The question is ...... is he doing enough ?  We have won nothing for three years, only won one game in our last ten, out of the league already and our CL place is out of our hands.

This is the team that Rafa built, if it fails ...... he fails.

Did Rafa not build last season's team., then?

If Man Utd had lost 1 more and drawn 1 more last season we'd have been champions.

Your point is equally as ridiculous.

It seems apparent that the antis are becoming increasingly desperate to find problems with the gaffer.

It's a sad day when fans of this club turn into bitters. :no

We won nothing last season mate...... or the season before...... or the season before that, or have we travelled so far down now that success is no longer about winning trophies?

I have supported Rafa through thick and thin .... its all getting a bit thin now ....?

Also when you get a chance search the web and check out how much Valencia was left in debt when Rafa left....

THAT REMINDS ME OF WHEN I GOT DIVORCED

thing is mate, that is what has happened on this forum lately! it really is hard to bite your tongue when things like that are posted.

i'd love to post on here more, but i just can't be doing with the hassle, cause i know i won't get into a discussion which is well thought out or knowledgable about the club etc, with some on here. so i'm not going to waste any of my valuable time on WUM's that get on here. i'm just going to focus on standing by the team through thick an thin cause that's the priority for me at the moment, nothing else!  starting with tonight's game.

                 COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS!
