The most useless, gutless, lazy piece of filth it has ever been our misfortune to have graced our club.

The interviewer asked him a question and he gave him an answer, the reason I posted it is people are up in arms that rafa should be sacked immediatley, but rafa wont be sacked because twit & tw@t are skint.

We hadn't the money to sack Houllier, but sold Heskey to pay him off. Maybe we could just sell Babel this time ?

Anyway according to Lakes, if we go out tonight we could sell 3 packets of crisps and pay him off.  :D

Am I right in thinking that no matter how :censored: a football manager is he will always get a big pay day when he gets the sack, that is fecking insane, why do football clubs allow these contracts, it's financial suicide! You could potentially get a manager in, with full control who sells all the best players to say Real Madrid for pennies, starts playing the under 12's in the lague and then when he gets the sack and a huge wedge of cash just goes over to Real Madrid and it's completely legal, astounding, simply astounding. BTW I'm not saying that Rafa is doing that I'm just highlighting how insane the contract is.

Maybe we could just give him "gardening leave" like we did with Pako. No doubt he would soon get another job and it would maybe only cost us 6 months wages?

Argueing on here with each other aint going to change a thing, tonight could be our last night in Europe for a very long time.

We have a big fecking game tonight.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

......and we lose against Everton, does the manager survive? Should the manager survive, if he doesn't are we in a caretaker situation or do we bite the bullet and get in quickly for one of the World Cup non qualifiers?

I think he should survive.

If the manager does survive and it's a disrespectful question to even ask, will the owners be inclined to back him financially in the Summer with new signings or will they have a good excuse for a wait and see policy?

By next summer though a decision should be made on whether Rafa stays or goes. If he stays I don't think they'll back him finacially during the summer. If he goes and a new manager comes in I don't think he'll be given sufficient funds to turn things around. IF a new manager comes in I wonder whether the Rafa 'fanatics' of today; will be excusing the new manager in his first season because of a 'sH,iT squad' he has inherited?

Are there any circumstances whatsoever in which a failure to get into the top four this season would be an acceptable effort?

Absolutely not.

Well we'd still have the match against Fiorentina but by then we may well have a new manager. I genuinely think we have the players to get 4th spot but I just don't think we have the manager.

Well in that case the whole forum is pointless because nothing we say or do on here actually matters, oh god I just got depressed, it's all pointless, I mean what is the point anyway ?    :sniffle

So if we win the FA CUP but finish 6th you would still sack him ?

I really can't see that mate. Wonderful day at Wembley, fans cheering like mad then a couple of days/weeks later we sack him ?

I think the minimum requirement should be ANY ONE OF :-top four/ cup/Cl run to the semi's. If he fails to achieve any of them...... then start sending out the job application forms.

Poetic in the sense that it would prove your point whilst destroying the club, well as long as you're happy Lando. Bloody hell talk about being negative!!

But I thought Rafa was the one destroying the club?

Yes you're right, finally you see the light.

Rafa + twit and tw@t = doom and gloom for LFC

I'm thinking you need to review your posts, friend.

I would yes.

I really can't see that mate. Wonderful day at Wembley, fans cheering like mad then a couple of days/weeks later we sack him ?

You're right I cannot see that happening but my personal opinion wouldn't change on the matter.

I think the minimum requirement should be ANY ONE OF :-top four/FA cup/Cl run to the semi's. If he fails to achieve any of them...... then start sending out the job application forms.

Didn't Cardiff, Millwall or someone like that reach the FA cup final? We have millions more than them and going by certain logic a semi-final in the FA cup would therefore not be enough to keep him in his job. Like I said even if we won the FA cup but finnished 6th in the league, I don't think that warrants him to stay at the club.

Until that happens though or anything disastrous like, I will stick with him  until the end of this season. It sounds harsh, but its his bed he can lay in it. I'd rather see a test in character from him, unlike Valencia where he upped and left.

I agree that a FA CUP semi shouldn't be enough ..... which is why I said CL semi :D I still think we have a decent chance of going through. I am certain we can win both our remaining games, so its just a case of Lyon getting a result tonight...... I would take a draw in that game now!
