He just doesn't look like the type (calm looking and not to mention heart issue), which I understand is just my opinion but we never have players that talk about it like Nani, Roy Keane and people like Beckham getting the flying boot.

Point is I think it's totally fine for Gerrard to scream at the younger lads but not the way Carragher did to Arbeloa last season.

Tell you what though for 300 million spent on a team, they where very average to say the least, if Hughes had any nounce about him they could have battered us off the park.

Id be fuming if I was a City fan after spending all that money they only looked dangerous once tevez come on, and their defence is a joke. 25 million for Lescott  :Oo:

they will get a world class manager in then they will be a threat to everyone.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

they were still better than us, especially in the second half. at least they could string a few passes together, unlike us. we were virtually playing as the away side in the second half.

I agree Man City and Liverpool share the same weak link, management.  :D

bringing aurelio on when chasing the game was a strange move for me. how the hell is aquilani supposed to get fit if he's not getting a runout? ???

To be fair Benayoun looked very tired and was getting knocked all over the place. There was only one sub left and the only one's who could play left wing were Aurelio and Riera.

Bringing Aquilani on instead of a left winger would have raised some eyebrows...
