oops

i'd give baros a 7. he took his goal superbly well. however i think he might have to get used to being used as a lethal weapon from the bench quite a bit this season. benitez won't change the team for the manure match i guarantee you. :oh:

Rafa is a football genius I tell you. Hmm I wonder how things will go when we play Chelsea.  tactics[Rafa] vs. tactics[Mourinho].

Shanti wrote:Some people rate extremely. Baros was god having seen him in the Europe2004. Then they think Baros should be benched having seen him in a few recent games. If you try to rate him in appropriate judgement, Baros is Baros, a very talented player, a player with large space to assess and explore, Europe 2004 top-scorer, etc.

Put Baros as not an LFC player to perceive him from outside. If there are some talks about him possibly coming to LFC, you will immediately say: grab him!. Now he's actually here already, some people should be more than thankful for that. He's definitely our precious asset.

even though it took me a while to get my head round what you're saying, what you say is a superb point.

if baros wasnt at liverpool we'd have been screaming for him to come to liverpool after euro2204, just like barca etc were.
its not the chilli sauce on kebabs that give you ring-sting, its the actual meat. had one without chilli, and still had ring-sting. the chilli's only there to mask the nonsense they stuff inside that bread.

we a replaying a more european style now with garcia and alonso, and its nce to see josemi getting stuck in. hes looking liek a proper english defender.
We still need to work on some things such as getting that second goal as that took a while but i was happy with the game. that is the best weve played for a while and long may i continue

Is it just me or is Sami spraying the ball all over the pitch with Gerrard type accuracy and class lately? I see him setting himself for a 40 yard pass and think, no, we don't do that long ball over the top anymore. But then it sticks to Kewell or Cisse's foot like glue. Quality.

Keep it up Sami!

I`ve seen it too..

And I`ve also been frustrated many a time because of the poor quality on Carra`s passing, but now even he finds a Liverpool-kitted with his passes..

When talking about passes; Gerrard`s cross leading to a Garcia header in the first half; Outstanding :)

yeah, the guys in the sky studio's were raving about that pass. it was world class though. i'd say even better than the one he delivered to owen against newcastle last year.

actually speaking of last night, i though phil thompson was a great co-commentator, without being biased. everything he had to say about liverpool was positive.
