Rakitic, Dzeko, Ibisevic, Pjanic, Hamsik.  Too bad Citeh already got their hands on Weiss.

I also think Misimovic is a good shout, but he is a but older (27). Seems to be one of those showed early promise then had a dull spell, and turned into a late bloomer types.

not sure if he is any good now but ive always rated Muslimovic.

you've always rated him but you don't know if he's any good?

I think we should go for a real sneaky Gattuso punt...

or

Juninho Pernambucano

Let's buy back past rejects. I say let's go for Titi Camera or Emile Heskey! Yes, Emile Heskey is the answer to all our prayers. Hmm, perhaps maybe begging Micky The Judas Owen back?

12 million? F*ck sake, I wouldn't even get out of bed in the morning for that.

Realistically, I'd love to see Pacheco and possibly Nemeth grace our bench in January instead of N'gog and HHH.

No thanks. Appiah has shown since his release that he isn't interested for less than 60k a week and he's not worth that when fully fit, which I very much doubt he is after about 2 years out of the game now.

I'd take Akinfeev off CSKA just so the Manc scum can't get him tbh. And maybe watch that Nzonzi fella at Blackburn, he's a youngster that could make the step up in the next couple of seasons and wouldn't cost the earth.

if we were  going to buy someone off CSKA, I'd rather it was Dzagoev

Only 12 Million ?  We just got the highest paid sponsorship deal in the prem, surely we should have more than that!!.

I would sell off both Voronin and Dossena and maybe punt for David Silva.

But some slightly more realistic targets would be Mata or Hulk.

HIT ME BABY !!!!!!! we´re off to the races.

VALENCIA COULD SELL VILLA AND SILVA

Valencia have conceded they may have to sell key duo David Villa and David Silva amid talk Manchester United are ready to reignite their interest in the pair.

The Spanish outfit have long-since been troubled financially but managed to fend off numerous suitors in the summer.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are known to be monitoring the situation closely, while in England the likes of United and Liverpool are thought to have registered tentative interest in the past.

Rafa Benitez has always been a fan of Silva but the financial problems at Anfield are likely to prohibit any deal.

Over at Old Trafford his counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson is not hamstrung in the same way, with the £80million sale of Cristiano Ronaldo meaning there is still a sizeable budget to play with.

While in the past Ferguson has stated he is content with the options already available to him, there have been rumours he may open the chequebook in the January transfer window.

Villa has previously indicated he would prefer to stay in Spain if he ever to leave Valencia, while Silva admitted in September that he had been the subject of a big bid from England in the summer.

Whether United, or indeed Liverpool, will make an offer in January is open to conjecture but it would seem Valencia are ready to discuss a possible sale.

Valencia sporting director Fernando Gomez told Las Provoncias TV: "If there was a moment that arrived that we cannot stand it any more, then of course we must sell and they [Villa & Silva] would be sold.

"We made a great effort in the summer to keep them, but if the economic situation continues, then things could become very serious.

"Still it was a success for us to keep them, because there was some large money offered to us."

Gomez stopped short though of saying a fresh offer had already been submitted, as he added: "We have not received an official offer for either Villa or Silva. I only know what has been said in the papers."

Liverpool plan transfer swoop for £4million-rated Sampdoria star.

Liverpool are tracking Hungarian starlet Vladimir Koman.

Sampdoria midfielder Koman, currently on loan at Bari, caught the eye during the World Under-20 championships.

Koman, 20, has a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder, is under contract until 2012 and is valued in the £4million bracket.

I've got a semi
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Highlights make this guys look promising.

Looks to be in the Stevie G mould and has very quick feet. Looks like a steal @ £4m  ???

One for the future and hopefully Nemeth will convince him to come to Anfield.
