That's what I was expecting to be honest.  Johnson said earlier in the week he reckoned he and Torres would be ok but not sure about Stevie.

As for Rooney, he was always going to play, classic Fergie.  He does this every time with one of his main players before a big game.  Such a coincidence they always manage to regain fitness just in the nick of time isn't it...

Sort of annoyed with Stevie (probably unfairly). But, why did he play the Lyon match? He's had enough injuries to know his own body by now. Should have sat it out and may well have been fit for tomorrow.

He's the captain , he wants to play every game and Lyon was a big one for us. The physio's , rafa and himself thought he could play , sadly he suffered a recurrence

Any ways that aside I think we can win this one 1-0 2-1 but its gona be tight game wouldn't shock me if it finishes 0-0.

Are you real?

Firstly, your grammar is like that of an eight year old.

Secondly - you honestly would laugh "a week later" if Owen scored?

Im putting you on ignore you absolute fukin clown.

Priceless
:D

begs the question what did Effes expect from someone who calls himself "Dazzer"..................?!!?!

I might be tempted to play Babel if Torres is not fit, not because I expect him to play well, but because his pace could cause their defence problems and so stick him up front with Kuyt and hope it pays off. I can't see N'Gog causing the manc defence many problems.

Possible starting XIs:

Liverpool: Reina, Carragher, Skrtel, Insua, Agger, Mascherano, Benayoun, Lucas, Kuyt, Babel, Torres.

Man Utd: Van der Sar, O'Shea, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Giggs, Scholes, Anderson, Valencia, Rooney, Berbatov.

I would leave Lucas out for this one, probably play a diamond in midfield with Mascherano in front of the back four and Gerrard/Benayoun in behind two strikers - one pairing of Babel & Torres, Kuyt & Torres or Kuyt & Babel. We could conceivably use Aurelio on the left to free up Benayoun from the left if Benayoun is needed elsewhere (right/centre) The lack of real options is evident when with only 2-3 players out we're struggling to cover RB, LM and RM effectively as well as decent strikers.

My cousin had a baby last night in the womens hossie and Colleen has been brought in so Rooney may not play.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

Surely the spawn of Shrek wouldn't be born in a hospital :D
I would've thought Area 51 or somewhere similar is appropriate for the birth of some extraterrestrial life form like his progeny...

And on a more meaningful note, with today's game in mind, and despite the fact that I used to consider Owen the mutt's nuts when he played in a LFC shirt, I am hoping our lads see fit to maime and physically incapacitate that maggot from the minute he steps on the pitch....
Wouldn't it be nice to see him lashed out of it in the first tackle, the Manc scum losing their collective rag, and a couple of clowns sent off

The ref for this game has his work cut out , mustn't get card happy from the first tackle. He's got a big job on his hand , hopefully we're due some karma for what happened last week
