Can anyboby out there in pc land help me as i have a celtic fan as a workmate and he sayes that they started sying OUR SONG before us. Enjoyed takin the pi*s out of him today doh.
Give me some help on this lads as i dont know

Load of ******...Kop sang it light years before Celtic

Started on the Kop in the early sixties as pop songs were played before the game and the crowd sang along and YNWA kinda stuck rumour has it Shanks got the DJ to play it before the start of the game

Twas a Gerry and the Pacemakers song but originally from the musical Carousel

So your celtic mate is wrong Im afraid

I asked the same question here a year ago,again because of deluded Celtic fans.Theres no record anywhere of Celtic fans singing YNWA before the early 1970`s.They just dont like admitting they nicked our song.

Plus OFFICIALLY we are the only club thet can carry the words YNWA on anything liverpool if the Celts did it on ANY of there Official stuff can anybodybody say LAWSUIT

There should be a lawsuit. Celtic aren't creative enough to come up with their own anthem.
