SUNDERLAND VS LIVERPOOL - Saturday 17th october, 3pm.

Liverpool Football Club - Games

I just hope that the little midget Spearing never plays another game for us.  The kid's very average and the championship is his level.

Let's all leave the stage clear for the gimp-fest which is sure to surface...

Sunderland were "in form". I suppose in many respects we should be happy we only lost 1-0 considering that, feck me it was Sunderland afterall :). A stirling effort from Rafa and the boys methinks just to keep the score respectable.

"Gimp fest"? After that comment? I swear I'm embarrassed for you sometimes Lando.

The fúcking balloon kid is famous in Spain aswell, and around here no one doubts the goal was  not valid.

Actually, 64% of Marca readers think the game should be repeated. (Poll over 8000 votes)

Perhaps repeating it would be too much, but that ref really has to be told something.

Tragic and silly as the goal was, rules aside mate...its a very :censored: sad day when we are blaming a balloon for not beating the likes of Sunderland!
Bottom line is there was more than one red balloon on that pitch today and the balloon that scored contributed more to the game than most of the ones with legs that get paid fuc'king huge amounts to play football!
Im fuc'king gutted at our start...its fecking terrible! :(

I've mentioned a few things that went wrong today through out the afternoon, no, I'm not blaming the fécking balloon.

But it gets me angry I have to admit, both with the kid and the ref.

The goal is an absolute joke. The ball is already in the net, so if nobody knows the rule somebody should fecking well find out. The fourth official for instance has got feck all else to do, hasn't he got a mobile phone? Like I say, if it took 90 seconds or so to get a definitive answer, so what? The game has ablready stopped anyway.  Second half we should have been going down in their box like flies, the ref will have known by then that he'd made a ricket and would have given us a penalty to balance it up. That's why the silly c... added seven minutes on at the end, we should have given him the ball and he'd have stuck it in himself given half the chance.

fecking ridiculous carry on though.

Interesting so many people in Spain would vote on this. No doubt it will be a major talking point in the papers next week.

So who still thinks Spearing is a better player than Lucas?

The goal shouldnt have stood but we didn't do anything to deserve the victory either so can't really complain. Rafa needs to get these players playing before our season really does hit the ground.

Lucas had some seasons of time to gain experience and show he can put a premier league standard display on a day like this. Don't look at the young lad, he was nervous as fúck and this things will happen with many youngsters unless you have some special guy like Gerrard.

They pressed up in the pitch and if it was not when Agger carried the ball himself, our CB trio were struggling. Our midfield pair didn't offer passes well enough, never came for the ball, it was a mess. As a result, your full backs were not very useful either.

We didn't hold the ball and when we tried to send some quality long ball we were reminded that Babel is not a striker like Torres who know to run them or fight against the defences.

But anyway, my point is yeh Spearing was not up to this game but not that his team mates helped him out a lot, and not that we should say a youngster is not valid because of a shaky debut. But Lucas is a different matter, Lucas has been here enough time to prove something more worthy of this red shirt.

In fairness as far as Lucas is concerned, it's becoming increasingly obvious that he is a little way short of being good enough. I know many (including the manager in fairness) have tried to "big him up" in order to get him a fair deal from the fans and media, as well as no doubt boosting his confidence, but I'm afraid is just isn't happening and what's more it doesn't look like it's going to anytime soon either.

To be honest much as it pains me to say it as he's a local kid and a trier, I don't think Jay Spearing is up to it either.

Do you know what Sabes i think Speos nerves would have been a lot steadier if it was Javier along side him today instead of Lucas, Javier actualy looked like he could give a t.oss when he came on, Im just hoping mate with all this Argie buissness out of the way he gets back to being the little terrier that he was, As far as im concerned mate he is vital to us
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE
