The problem with the itouch is that they are pretty expensive, and on top of all that the most affordable one is only 8gb, which is pretty much useless (especially if youre going to be adding apps).

Ill take my 60gb video over a flashy touch screen, its all about the music.

Very few apps take up more than a few megabytes. The only ones that do are maybe premium games like Modern Combat - around 200Mb I think.

don't think my lad will be needing any more than 8gb about 10 games 4 or 5 hundred songs, 3 or 4 films and that would be about it for him, i'm sure there would be loads of space left for him after that aswell so if he wanted more he can add it

so the 8gb one is the one i will be getting him
