Yep, just heard on the radio that Gerrard went of holding his thigh. Could be a strain or worst. F**king bollox, that's all we need :(

Some Ukrainian player tackled him got booked but it was Gerrards ankles, not his thigh.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Just hope it's not serious.

(btw they mentioned the thigh on talksport. They have been known to get it wrong from time to time).

Oh FFS did he even need play? England have already qualified!!!! That Capello is a :censored:. Rafa should have just pulled Stevie out with a last minute injury.

According to BBC News Gerrard was replaced because of a thigh injury. Could well be just a precaution of course but even though the general consensus is that he's been below his best, it would be a serious blow to lose him I think.

I cant believe people actually paid to watch this.

The Times.

Some people have more money than sense. We have already qualified, why pay to watch a pointless match as far as england are concerned? but then again, if everyone thought like me we wouldnt have X factor, strictly come dancing, big brother and the rest of the tripe !
