Favourite insult - Just to the pass the time

Window licker, yeah I loved that :D

In the pubs when you had someone who was trying to give it Charlie Big Spud but was actually a bit of a knobjockey, he was a doughnut. I always quite liked that, he didn't even qualify as a bit of a geezer (or fridge freezer, or even lemon squeezer if you must), he was just a doughnut. They don't come back from that.

Yeah the thing is as well Bob, if you've been a doughnut for a while you never shake it off really. You can though be almost there, in which case you are a "bit of a doughnut".

At some point however, once you are fully fledged and have served your apprenticeship, you are a "complete doughnut". I think even if in subsequent years you pull a nice bird or become marginally hard amongst your contemparies, you never really shake off this particular stigma. Even if you become universally thought of as being cool, there'll always be someone who says "didn't he used to be a bit of a doughnut ???". When people are describing you to their mates, it won't be the bloke with the dark hair, it'll be "you know, that bloke that used to be a bit of a doughnut".

You never shake that one off, it's like a bulldog with lockjaw.
