I was certainly a happier, more patient and optimistic supporter before we were taken over. I would settle now for owners who tried to do what was best for the club, built a new stadium or even just extended Anfield, with a sound business plan that didn't entail massive debt and spent just enough on transfers to keep us in with a decent chance of titles. If the owner managed to do that and made a profit .....good luck to him. I wouldn't mind a few years of heavy spending on transfers either if it was possible, but I would settle for no debt a new stadium and our future assured.

Yeah but the fact is put money into the club but realistically not expect to make a return on it.
Can you think of anyone whose made money owning a footy club? Geordie Ashley might be a hint.
