Eh, our two best players didn't show up today what do you expect.  Aside from that we still played well enough to nick it imo it just wasn't in the cards for us.

Na, S@int, seriously, he's the player we're lacking at the moment. We don't have another player in the squad like him. He's what we're lacking at the moment; someone to pick a pass and be all over the pitch like an Iniesta type player.

the only positive thing out of this defeat is that manure arent top anymore. sigh. the defense on paper seems fine, the midfield...lucas is W*nk. and we need a new striker so bad.

Think thats the best we have played this season and where really unlucky, two mistakes cost us, Gerrard had a poor game.
Wasnt expecting anything today and we where worthy of a draw. Just bad luck onwards and upwards.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Due to overall crappiness in the League, we are 4 pts behind Mancs, and 6 behind Chels.
So we are just warming up for the return of the Italian Romeo.
But we did miss Alonso..we did miss his all range passing.
Today is an overall bad team performance.
Torres, Gerrard, Reira, Insuna, Kyut, Johnson p1ss a.ss poor.
Skrtel and Carra did ok.
Reina should have stop the 2nd, but did save some under great composure.

Again, we did fantastic against big teams last season, yet still lost the league due to not putting smaller oppositions to the knife.
This season we can still challenge if we continue to murder smaller teams and try not to lose to bigger clubs.

work all the time.

My thoughts exactly Misty. Against the better teams Torres up on his own even with Gerrard in support just isn't enough. There are times when we're just expecting too much from Torres.

At least someone has a bit of sense

All those saying we were :censored: and get rid of Lucas and all the rest need to watch the game again. We didn't play that bad at all and could easily drawn or even won the game.

Chelsea took their chances we didn't

We need some depth, yes, but the player we need is currently injured. F*ck sake.

3 defeats already, 6 points behind. Hardly in a terrible spot. Can't afford that gap to be any bigger, and if it is by Christmas, then you can say its over. At the moment all it is is a one game swing and we're right back there again. People need to keep that in mind when looking at the bigger picture.

Exactly, We depend on those two to much. We need strength in depth quality players. I'm afraid we just don't have them- yet.

Lucas has been alright. Although he's not the type of player we exactly need right now, is he. Still, he has his use in the squad.
